Darkest Dungeon?

So we've just discovered that Bhvr acquired Red Hook, aka the ones behind Darkest Dungeon.

Since one of us already made a Darkest Dungeon joke we're curious as to others thoughts on this development and of course possible DLC that can come with.

Seems like a massive waste of money that could have been better spent going to overhauling and reworking a lot of the older stuff/broken stuff in the game currently.

BHVR has many, many more projects than just DbD. I don’t think the acquisition of Red Hook is particularly relevant for DbD.

Honestly, with games like Castlevania on the table, I'd be down for a cosmetic collection or chapter sometime down the line. Not really a standout licence, but they're solid games.

I'm not sure a DLC would come of it. Then again, D&D is here, so I may be wrong.

Darkest Dungeon feels more like it would be a great cosmetic opportunity! Some considerations on this:

    1. Haddie Kaur - Antiquarian
    2. Elodie Rakoto - Arbalest
    3. Sable Ward - Grave Robber
    4. Meg Thomas - Hellion
    5. David King - Highwayman
    6. Vittorio Toscano - Houndmaster
    7. Mikaela Reid - Musketeer

    And, as for the Killers:

    1. The Dredge - Thing From The Stars
    2. The Nurse - Cultist Acolyte
    3. The Hag - Ghoul
    4. The Deathslinger - Brigand Hunter
    5. The Oni - Swine Prince
    6. The Unknown - Drowned Thrall
    7. The Doctor - The Collector

i think they're more likely to have cross over at some point. when i first read news, i was wonder if shambler could be a killer in dbd and highwayman as survivor as he is protag in dd1.
