The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

Why do survivors think this game is on the killer's side?

Once the reason is clear, there is a way to do this.
Please let me know if you need more training wheels.

if you check the stats from

Killer Stats Viewer - Dead by Daylight - NightLight

the only killer in the game that doesn't have a positive win rate vs survivors is Ghostface clown is about dead even the rest of the killers have high winrate "winrates meaning 3to 4k" and not by a small amount even the low tieres are doing verry good in general

It also includes the number of survivors who commit suicide repeatedly, abandon the game, and so on.
Anyone who perceives that this alone is a disadvantage for survivors is a person who does not think about anything.

the stats overall average is 35.93% winrate for survivors 12.93% that ends up in a tie and 45.87% winrate for killers so yes on average it is at least at the aggregate data from nightlight

It's usually those who play as survivors mostly. Or new players.

I've been playing this game for four years now, and what I've observed on my own playing, is that when I play as a survivor, I tend to get the feeling most of the times that this game is Killer sided. But when I play Killer, I tend to get the feeling this game is Survivor sided. Yes, I know and am aware that I'm not the top player or perform on Otz or Hens levels of play, so no need for those "LuLz ShKiLl IsHuuSh!" comments

Why? Seriously? You just need to use your four slowdown crutch perks, maybe even throw Haddonfield, and tunnel or slug the s*** out of the survivors. And you need abolutely ZERO killer skill to do so. Not even talking about Nurse or anything this stupid.

They're looking at statistics I guess bro. Meanwhile the game isn't very enjoyable for killers. I mean sure our kill rate might be slightly high right now but that doesn't mean we're having fun.

We've become a bit more ruthless lately. Why? Because every single game is SWEAT. Survivors are the one who are sweating so therefore it forces us to sweat so because match after match we have to sweat when we actually get that one chill game against some chill more laid back survivors we SWEAT not knowing that they were chill because we've gotten so used to every match being sweat and it ends up making us look so strong and sweaty so those types of survivor players are the ones complaining and saying the game is killer sided. In my opinion it's just unfortunate and to be honest if this isn't the case and they genuinely think the game is killer sided... Who cares!

This is probably the second time ever the game has been killer sided. Most of the time it's been survivor sided.

This game has always been SoloQ with the most people getting slaughtered and then the 1.5-2.5% SWF with 2k+hours doing better then killer.

Based on the only actual evidence that we have. The game is designed to be killer sided because killers are the selling point of the entire game. It’s a horror franchise. People don’t go to a horror movie for the survivor they go for the killer.

You have the kill rate that shows this, you have the devs comments on making Killer the power role that shows It, you have top killers going on nearly 2,000 win streaks that show it, etc. If you chose to actively deny or reject all statistical data that is out there you have every right to do that, but others don’t need to do the same and it shouldn’t be too surprising when people’s answer to this question match the evidence as opposed of just relying on personal biases.

The game is killer sided but it should be.

(Not that survivor couldn’t use some help with QOL and things)

For the first 6-7 years, this game was overwhelmingly survivor sideed.

From them on, it slowly became more killer sided.

    And here we are today

because it is in terms of kill rate and result distribution.

killers have a 57:43 kill to escape ratio, a 51:36 win to lose ratio, and a 57.5% adjusted winrate. all the numbers are in their favor. i personally think it's good for the game to be killer sided, but right now it's killer sided in a way that's miserable for both roles instead of being fun for both roles - it would be better if the game was killer sided in a way that was fun for both sides
