Before all things wicked it was Roots of Dread and before that it was all-kill. Thats as long as i have been playing.

Forged in fog, tools of torment and end transmission was probably the worst patch of dbd i've played. Very disappointing or just not interesting to me.

Just came back to add the All-Kill chapter but you was faster :D

It's between Portrait of a Murder and A Binding of Kin

All Things Wicked because I thought it was a small step in the right direction towards making DBD a horror game again…

Well, safe to say I was wrong.

All Things Wicked was such a well done chapter, and probably even one of the best ever (including Licensed chapters!). The advertising campaign, characters, map .. everything was well done, including the screening preview to The Casting Of Frank Stone.

Man, looking at all of these is really reminding me how abysmal most original chapters are lol. They were all either riddled with bugs, had a horrible map, insufferable killer, or meta-breaking perk.

All Things Wicked wasn't an incredibly exceptional chapter, the map is horribly killer-sided and the killer was somewhat disappointing at the time when a lot of people expected a cryptid-type monster and instead got Mr. Grenade Launcher, but it definitely wasn't genuinely unenjoyable like most of these chapters were.

My vote goes to (surprise) All things Wicked, too.

    Like already mentioned from above.

The biggest bummer was that I expected something different and not a goofy killer with mixed power.

But the Killer is funny and creepy, the survivor, that voiceacting, the map is ok, not many bugs.

    I like

I enjoyed All Things Wicked a lot, rip to Zoey and shame that the person who came up with teaser campaign is no longer at BHVR. I enjoyed End Transmission, even if Singu is an accessibility nightmare for me to play as. I enjoyed Tools of Torment a lot, despite how much it's being clowned on. Wasn't the biggest fan of Forged in Fog on release, but came around to liking Knight and thank god Vittorio starts getting non-modern clothes more often. Enjoyed Roots of Dread a lot too, Haddie coming has been a bigger hype for me than some licenses, and even tho she's not quite the Tome Haddie - I still like her to this day. Same goes for prior releases.

The only Chapter out of these that was genuinely a horrendous release was A Binding of Kin. And it's not because of perks or characters themselves, but because on release Elodie's hook screams were on par with PTB Kate and Twins were in such a horrible buggy state performance-wise that you could literally get stuck in ground as Victor mid-switch at the start of the match and be softlocked for the rest of the it, unable to do anything, unless some survivor decided to come in and give you a kick. Thankfully, Elodie's screams were fixed since and Twins aren't nearly as buggy anymore (eventho some bugs still aren't fixed).

I think all of the original chapters always have something interesting and cool to offer, and none of them are inherently bad. I just wish BHVR came back to them a bit more. Because as important D&D, Chucky and Alan Wake collabs were for me and as much as I love them - I prefer when BHVR just roll with their own creations and add value to their own IP.
