Slugging for finishing Mori?
Why is this a new thing where killers will have me (2nd to last survivor) hooked and let the last survivor slugged just to try and get their mori? I understand bringing new, fun mechanics/reworks but why things that'll just be abused by many killer players?
Just hook both of us and end the match instead of slugging just for a mori.

I think the finisher Mori should work on the last man standing, similar to low profile.
If everyone is hooked, then the last Survivor on the floor can me moried.. that way the waiting out for the hooked person to die wouldn't be a thing.

Yeah, that's been suggested. Specifically if everyone else is hooked and second stage, the last standing survivor can be mori'd. So you don't rob people of self unhook perks or attempts. Really hope they do that, would actually make finisher moris a fast way to end a match instead of the opposite with people waiting out people on hook to get it.

That's because of the hatch, not because of the Mori.

thats totaly for the mori.
since the patch is up, all my game are slug for mori at end before the patch , maybe 60-70% of my game was slug for 4K2 -
I've yet to have someone that Slugged for 4k and Mori close hatch.

Ugh.
It has always been because of the hatch.
"Last survivor could jump in" → "maximise time theres not just last survivor left"
"Egc starts at open doors" → "99' gates so egc doesnt start".
BBoth sides have tricks to delay triggering disadvantageous gamestates.

I think killers like me... I get chosen for the Finisher Mori's often xD
Seems fair to me, though I still like the idea teh Finisher Mori unlocks if and only if the last survivor is not in the dying state when the 3rd survivor dies.

If I don't slug and kill the 3rd, the 4th can get hatch. Don't act dumb.

There's been countless people suggesting a "Give up" button for survivors on ground after 1 minute of being slugged. It would solve this issue, as well as many others, like slugging for 4k.
And yet it has never been implemented. I honestly don't understand how something so basic is beind missed by the devs, either they consider the time of survivor time to be worthless, or they never play survivor.

That would be very good. A couple of times the last person on the hook was adamant to make every single skill check and waste as much time possible on a lost game, just to spite me as the killer (and a couple of them even admitted to this in the post game chat).
This change would be so much more healthy for the game: if there is no chance of the others unhooking, well, then just let the killer do their mori.

Yeah, they absolutely need to do this to speed things up.
Not like Low Profile because that works when everyone else is in the dying state, but if everyone else is hooked then it should 100% work.

It was a poorly-thought-out idea that nobody in the community was asking for. I play about 50% killer and I think it was a terrible idea. All it does is encourage the unfun playstyle of slugging people at endgame to guarantee a finisher mori. Just get rid of it and let people bring mori offerings if they really want to mori people.
