Bite the bullet buff
bite the bullet is a fun perk one thing I don’t like is how when someone else is healing you it doesn’t work. It works with self care and self healing so idk why others healing you doesn’t. So obviously one buff is that. Another buff that might be good in todays meta climate would be that it blocks auras from being read while healing. This counters nurses calling, nowhere to hide procing while sneakily healing at a Gen , and bbq being read while trying to reset. So many times I will be healing sneakily next to a Gen and a No where to hide finds me. Some concerns that pop up with this would be that people will use self care to block there auras always but that would require (A) being always injured and (B) having self care which is a waste. Possibly it can be like appraisal and work on X tokens to prevent this. What do y’all think

I had the same idea a while ago. I don’t think it needs the tokens. I would add, that you can heal with 3 people. This way the perk would be more appealing.

- When somebody is getting healed or heals another Survivor within 8 meters of your location (did only work when you healed someone for both of you or when you healed yourself), you and they benefit from the following effects: Suppresses all noises and auras (new) related to Healing and Grunts of Pain.
- Failed Healing Skill Checks do not trigger a loud noise notification. Reduces the Penalty to 3/2/1 %of the total Progression.
- Allows 3 survivors to heal one survivor at the same time (new)

I do like the idea that it works like streetwise prove thyself and leader . Plus people know you have it. The reason I think auras should be on a token system is to prevent any abusing that people might do like 90% there heal to avoid auras all game and run injured perks like resilience without fear of getting spotted through auras. But I can also easily see that as unnecessary but the 2nd benefit is that it will allow the user to recognize the type of aura reading perk used an example being like if your healing far away and a token gets eaten you know its BBQ. 3 people healing together would be a cool niche thing since that would rarely happen because most of the time there is always 1 person in chase.

I like the idea of it working like Streetwise and Vigil where every survivor gets the buff while in range. But instead of blocking Auras (not a bad idea though) it could suppress Screams. Maybe it could also show other Survivors the Aura of the Survivor getting healed.

Oh you mean with Bite the Bullet, I thought you were referring to the healing action in general. Got confused.
So basically if one has the Perk, and 2 others heal the person.. everyone is silent?

Screaming is the alternative to auras so idk if suppressing both is good and if it has to be one or the other I choose aura since they are used more. Showing auras when healing would be a solo queue buff which will 100% be welcomed

Yea like how if one person brings streetwise everyone has 25 percent efficiency

I've posted that it should work both ways.....a couple of times. It's still a good idea. Don't like the idea of making auras inconsistent again but it's such a niche perk it's probably fine

I meant both. The perk now gives its iron will effect to everyone in a 8m radius and it allows 3 survivors to heal one survivor. At the moment only 2 survivors can heal 1 survivor, the third can do nothing.
