What do you think the new Freddy update will inlcude?
Early predictions on Freddy's update. I'm pretty hype now. Haven't been exited for a killer update since like. Never.
Back to maining Freddy as top 1 again. Rip Sadako..
What do you think will be changed? I could see some new fake objects, addon rework maybe even some old Freddy elements returning. Maye even some unique chase music?

Oh my lord, I didn't even think about the possibility of him getting his unique chase music now. That would be so good. M1_gamer, our internet beef would officially begin if he doesn't receive that. Getting my hopes up and everything..

I imagine the dream world aesthetic will probably get an overhaul with UE5’s new tools.
It’s possible they might give Freddy a mini sub-realm he can pull survivors into to begin cutting down on a Mori Mechanic + dealing damage more easily , with the survivors shell left in the Trial that other survivors must wake up to help prevent the Mori progress (albeit spawning Freddy next to them).
(Imagine stepping into a blood pool instead causes the survivor to fall into the boiler room, Injuring/suffering from Deep wounds, and they need to find an exit. Freddy being able to teleport to the boiler room where he could down/ hook them (and leverage the Haunted by daylight hook mechanic).
Though that kinda feels like it could have a lot of issues like the OG Freddy where he gets screwed out of a hit in that realm through timely intervention ultimately wasting too much time.

No clue. Maybe he can inflict deep wound somehow which is why they are updating it in the same update?
He definitely needs a complete add-on pass.
Maybe replace dream snares since they are not much fun.1 -
Snares and Dream Pallets both being basekit and switchable on the fly seems to be a given. New fake objects (namely gens) would be cool too. Basically a better trickster killer than the official one.

I hope they get rid of Snares and Dream Pallets entirely. His power is just way too boring.
I wish they do a partial revert of the previous rework and add a few QoL-changes with it. E.g. I think the clocks are interesting to use, but the microsleep is not. In general, I would like the dreamworld to have more effects than just a filter, hallucinations would be fine.
IMO ideally Freddy is basically not a threat at all outside of the dreamworld, but very dangerous in it. And this is just not the case currently.

Hopefully his old Dream Transition with some touch-ups like Incapacitated during the transition.
Removal of waking up via skill checks.
Dream Projection and Dream Pallets could stay.
The slowdown probably won't return in it's full power, but they could make it 20 or 30%
And maybe some new mechanics.

Dont expect too much. Its still BHVR.
So I suggest the following (including the references for Twins, Slinger, Sadako, SM and others):
- They will decrease the cooldown for the Teleport (I dont think they let us teleport to finished gens or Exit-Gate-Switches)
- They will give you the ability to switch between Snares and Pallets like Clown can switch with bottles
- If we are lucky, they get rid of the Speed Penalty when holding a Snare
- They will give him an addon-pass. I expect Paint Brush gets annihilated into two addons (One lets survs start asleep, one disables the Skillcheck-Wakeup)
- IF THEY WANT TO TOY WITH US: They will nerf the Dream Projection like "you cant fake it anymore", but for that, we give you 2 extra Snare-Tokens. Please don´t do this crap.
That´s it. They wont give us OG Freddy (Peanits already confirmed this), they wont do anything special. My expectations are this, nothing more.
