as a killer main...DS need a time buff
the stun start as soon the survivors hit the skillcheck, so as soon as the stun animation trigger, the stun duration as already triggered, so you lose 0.75 seconds of your stun just to land on your feet and be able to move again, so you have a 2.25 stun duration, which means it takes 3-4 seconds for the killer to catch you, literally, i am a killer main, i am rank 1, i love the new DS, but it really, really really need a 4 second stun duration instead of 3, unless you have a window OR and pallet right next to you, or other survivors who can body block or take hits for you, the new ds is ALMOST useless, with a 4 seconds stun, now it could be better, 3 seconds it's not worth it or good at all, 4 would make it way better and could actually make you start another chase, instead of falling down again 4 seconds after you broke free, buff DS, it's bad, it's weak, it's useless almost, and if the killer also have enduring...well i dropped you, let me down you 1 second after.

You should see it against Enduring Tier 3, it’s literally like all you did was slip off the killers shoulder back onto the floor.

Unless you have pallet or window around ds was useless in anyway. So you want 6-8 sec for killer to catch you instead of 3-4 ? Not much sense

One minute is well enough. Been trying out the new DS a lot lately and I've gotten to use it quite a lot. Don't act like you have it and killers who tunnel won't expect a thing.

This time needs a huge buff
this is ridiculous

No.
I'd rather have Enduring not counter it. That 4 seconds really sucks, feels like you're punished for not running Enduring. Meanwhile Enduring against a 4 second DS is still pretty fast. If the idea is to punish tunneling then it would make sense to give all killers a flat 3 second stun regardless of Enduring.

"The perk to weaken stuns should not work on this stun", thats how stupid this suggestion sounds.
1 -
It doesn't work on wiggle free and that's essentially the same thing.

Agreed I got ds'd right next to a pallet, without even having enduring after I was stunned I was a able to grab the survivor right off the pallet as they tried to vault it. Bear in mind it was right next to us that really shouldn't of happened. I play both sides and imo the perk needs a longer stun and or shouldn't be effected by enduring.

"Mend" isn't a healing action seen by Nurses calling. Don't let logic cloud your vision haha.
5 -
I like when survivors write "I'm a killer main" in the first line of the thread, to make them look smart and trustworthy.
2 -
Nurses calling doesnt work on mend, I dont remember why devs did it like that, probably because "those kind of survivors" didnt like it like with snapping out of it.

How ya doin', my fellow killer mains? Lovely weather, what? What ya doin'? Some killing? Me too. Must be going, now. Things to do. Like killing. I'm a killer-main.

Not all perks have to be viable and DS is certainly not underpowered, its incredibly strong in the endgame

oh bs. it finally got a counter and should of been nerfed into the ground 2 years ago. you soon would be bitching if it got changed how your saying and reverted. killer main my ass

I'll make you a deal. We give it 4 seconds instead, but if a different survivor gets downed while your 60 second timer is still going the perk turns off. This just guarantees it's ONLY for tunnelers of which it currently is not.

Faulty logic. No person can claim to be a killer main and counter what the supposed mainstream thought should be. That is a very weak mindset to have.
The OP is absolutely correct. I had no enduring and was hit with ds next to a window. I lunged and got them on the other side. No way that should happen. (Damn Megs in identical outfits and both wounded. Thought I had the one who saved the other.)

I'd say make it so that even with Enduring it's a flat 3 second stun but then each time it's used the stun time is lessened by say .5 seconds.
If you somehow magically get a 4 man game all running DS that 4th person gets a 1.5 second stun which gives them about 2 steps currently.
You could also change it to be that it has to be used before 3rd hook so if you're saving it for late game you can't be on insta death hook and try and use it.
One other change it can cause exhaustion to prevent all the whining about DS/AD free escape nonsense. Since it's only a free escape if you don't try and stop them from leaving.
The exhaustion change upon using it would be a good trade off for a flat 3 second stun so that if you use it and the last gen pops you don't get a movement speed boost.

As A kIlLeR mAiN MySeLf
I too think we need to buff survivors. Especially Nea.

"Faulty logic. No person can claim to be a killer main and counter what the supposed mainstream thought should be. That is a very weak mindset to have."
We seem to have different perspectives about what's "mainstream thoughts" in this forum.
Since the majority of player is survivor, any thought about nerfing killer is actually "mainstream".
And anybody that plays killer for the majority of the time knows that survivor are still to strong. It's simple mathematics. Not that hard to understand, buddy.
So I keep calling out anybody that claims to be a "killer main" and asks for survivor buffs.
I am all about new cool things to do for survivor and new ways to interact with killer.
But killer have to be in a good spot to make that happen.
I already suggested new items for survivor like the hairspray with add ons ducttape and stormlighter. :P
But at the moment the gamebalance is not in the right spot for things like that.

i said i am a killer main with 1600 hours and around 1000+ as killer, i'Ve experienced the worst of DS and also the previous version and now i experience this one, and really, i say i a ma killer main to not act like a crying salty survivor, because i am not a survivor main even if i am a good survivor, this perk need a buff because even me as a killer i think it is useless since i catch them after 4 seconds
1 -
anyone stop reading after they said as a killer main?
2 -
I agree.

That’s what memes are for! Lmao 👍🏻
2 -
@Wolf74 My bad, I did not spell it out for you. I'm referring to accepted viewpoints by the so-called killer mains on this forum. Anyone that steps outside of that stream of thought is instantly discredited as a killer. It is a sign of a very small mind set. You do that a lot.

I waited years to finally see some "Buff DS" threads.
It's worth the wait.

Dude, you're 45 years old. Stop trying to be hip and fresh with the kids.
I would die of embarrassment if I found out my dad is acting like a smartass on a message forum for a video games. y I k E s !

@NeaJovovich "Dude, you're 45 years old. Stop trying to be hip and fresh with the kids."
That's indeed how you see other peoples when you constantly act childish.
At least with this kind of answers peoples will not waste their time arguing with you.
Know i'm wondering why this kind of shits are always done by toxic survivor mains.
A real mistery.

Posts this nonsense while ignoring all the toxic killer main nonsense and acts like he's morally right.

@powerbats "Posts this nonsense while ignoring all the toxic killer main nonsense and acts like he's morally right."
What are you disingeniously implying ?
Are you really still "debating"(baiting) with this ?

Tries to troll still fails, someday you'll learn you can't troll me.

I just leave it here:

He literally couldn't make 5 steps to a pallet.
So OP, no counter-play, nerf more please.
2 -
It’s ok, nea is my favorite when I play survivor too 😂
0 -
DS shouldn’t be affected by enduring IMO.
2 -
As a survivor I think an anti stun perk should work on stuns.
2 -
DS is now a garbage perk, most killers run enduring just take it out of your build. It can go on the pile with some of the other useless ones like this isnt happening.
