The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

For those that do, what do you use to record your gameplay?

And how demanding is it?

Just had my second match of my teammate teaming with the Killer (as is, leading them to the rest of us), and from what I understand, not much gets done without actual footage.

I use Medal. It's got regular screen recording, clipping and the filesizes aren't massive.

If you play on PC you can record your playsessions with a programm like OBS and then afterwards delete them if not needed anymore. It can get a bit disk space intensive if you keep too much of your stuff, but thats probably the only way to go. If you then need to show BHVR some footage you can upload the snipped about that game as an unlisted youtube video and send them the link.

If you are a steam user, you can use the built-in recording software

I use OBS Studio as I found NVIDIA's built in recording software was not working well on my PC. You can adjust the settings, so it can be as demanding as you want in return for increased filesize and quality, or you can use low settings. If your computer does not run DBD well normally though, it might struggle to also record. There's also a built in "xbox game bar" in windows you can use the windows key + G to record with, and it shouldn't be very high impact either.

    I use OBS.

Steam's recording system doesn't always work properly.

You can also use the Xbox Game Bar in a pinch. It records in good detail, but it is limited to 30 fps.
