I think the perk Friendly Competition needs a rework

The perk just isn't good enough to warrant a perk slot in your build. It has several flaws, for example your teammate can leave before the gen is finished, or they just won't come at all to work with you, or they prefer working alone and spread out to apply preassure to multiple gens in the match.

I think it needs a complete rework, repair speed perks are a delicate thing, and I think if you buff this Perk more it could become problematic, such buffs as stronger repair speed or longer duration.

Also you can just bring a Toolbox which gives you a much faster and more consistent buff, than to waste a Perk slot on a 5% boost…

But what do you think?

    I swear, people on the forums just read my mind and post it.

    I was also wondering how this could be buffed.

    Came up with this:

    • The trigger condition is the same, but the other people on the gen get notified that you have it.

    • The duration should get a buff. Maybe to 60/90/120 seconds.

    • I'd like to add an additional effect. After triggering the perk, the repair speed boost is the same, however, once one of the survivors who had been affected by this perk finishes repairing a gen, they will get a 10% boost, stealing it from everyone else if they still had it before.

    Honestly how it hasn't been reworked confuses me. I don't have the perk but I can imagine having it being a waste if you are playing solo.

    i'd remove its ability to be continuously stacked with itself but make it have no duration after it has been triggered.

    I like the idea of the Perk actually being competetive haha!

    But I think it needs a whole new effect to be competetive about, I think the current effect either is too weak (like right now), or it could become too strong.

    Make it so there's no duration, the survivor loses the bonus when they lose a health state
