Why do people say: "DbD is dying!"?
Why do they keep saying Dead by Daylight is dying? Am I the only one who is having fun in this game?

As far as I know people have been saying this since the game released.
DBD has its problems to fix, of course, but I don't think the game is dying.

Because the solo survivor experience is being neglected and solo survivors make up the vast majority of the playerbase. If a game can't stay consistently appealing to the majority of its playerbase, it will slowly die over time

Dbd is dying a veteran death. Many old players started quitting the game this year and only come back on occasion. Also the thing with player count is that there are those included who are cheater accounts. Those numbers rise more and more (issue in all online games) and conceal the actual player loss. Like, in reality i would say 8/10 people ive known playing dbd for years quitted, and thats should be a sign for the devs. Even many older content creators stopped, and the go-to- creators are all very very hard judging the game by now.
