Hackers are impersonating innocent players and getting them banned.

    Not according to the videos you posted and the original Choy posted about this subject. He made it very clear it's if you stream.

    The sad fact is that it is not a priority.

    cheat protection / server side validation -> no profit

    skins, DLC -> immense profit

    Players are also not aware of that if they spend a lot of money on the things mentioned, nothing will change. Unfortunately, society's IQ continues to decline.

    yearly sales on Call of Duty, FIFA etc. shows this clearly…

    My experience is that if you report regularly with video and support ticket, you suddenly no longer come across any obvious hackers. Why this is the case is anyone's guess. Hens has a video on this that gives a little more insight and from that you can at least piece things together a little.

    Edit: clarification of the report

    They don't care. It's sad, but it's the truth.
    It would be fairly easy to enable listener processes on servers to monitor the ingame movements and mechanics to check on cheats.
    But they would need cpu, ram and to be developed in first place. No profit. So they create another fortnite skin collection. Big profit

    What would be of great interest to me personally:

    Just imagine a cheater/hacker who doesn't really cheat but just monitors all players in the match all the time in the background through his software.

    I would be very curious to see what kind of data he would collect after 100 matches played.

    How high the average number of cheaters/hackers would really be, including the subtle ones.

    I would watch something like that on Twitch, that would be entertaining.

    But you can assume that BHVR would do their absolute best to censor something like that.

    Here to remind everyone that BHVR is always aware of it and refuse to talk about it.

    one could publish new numbers on the war on hackers to boost morale, or you could just keep quiet and let the community come up with its own theories.
