How are we feeling about Drac?
I saw the patch notes where they upped the cooldowj timer for shapeshifting and Hellfire, while also making Scent Orbs and Pounce charge available sooner. I'm currently in class and can't twst it out until this afternoon, but does it help address the main concern about him shifting rapidly while in chase?

Wolf still needs far more changes. Its still terrible at tracking while the form was marketed as his tracking tool, and his pounce is still easy af to dodge and hard to aim.
I also dont even understand why the nerf to Hellfire. It was fine already, a ranged attack you could bait, dodge and is still hindered by not being able to go through high obstacles.

Wolf change is NOT ENOUGH. The second pounce needs to be on Killer's Control, otherwise it can be dodged extremely easy.
Hellfire nerf also doesn't makes sense either. It's quite easy to dodge, so it's mostly used as a zoning tool. Besides, not many scenarios where you'll need to spam hellfire, because 7s is already a long time.
But luckily they didn't touch anything else, so I'll probably stick with him for now..

Bat Form is still miles better than spirit and it misses me off so much.
Hellfire nerf doesnt chance anything
Wolf still ######### sucks and will only be used in rare ocassion

They failed to understand the main issue with his kit which is the absurdly low cooldown between going out of Bat form and being able to M1. Same thing with Chucky and his M2 cooldown immediately recharging after being used.

I agree. The only time I use Wolf Form is if I'm hunting for a survivor nearby and not using aura perks, and even then it doesn't feel that great or rewarding compared to bat form. Hellfire's only practical use is zoning and to ensure hits over windows and pallets. Otherwise it isn't something that's coming up that often.
I would LOVE for the Pounce mechanic to be more akin to Nurse's Blink (where you can control the second pounce) as opposed to Wesker's mechanic (where it's automatic). Even if it reduced movement speed some to prevent catching up and instantly being able to hit.
@Choaron I'm surprised that they didn't give a cooldown to speed or attacking after coming out of shapeshift to address the main complaints.
It's disappointing to hear that these number changes aren't contributing much to enhancing wolf form's capabilities, as well as the nerf to his Vampire form. What changes could be made to make wolf better? I feel that the orbs are a neat tracking mechanic, but by the time I catch up to a survivor on orbs alone I could have easily used an aura perk and bat for better tracking. Should the bat and wolf movement speeds be inverted since bat can teleport, and then just increase the range that it can teleport to?

Im not a fan but I'm also not surprised. I said before Dracula would mostly get nerfs to vamp and bat from while Wolf gets barely anything. I'm unfortunately was right about this... I'm fine with nerfing the problematic parts of his kit while buffing the weaker parts. They kinda did this but it's not enough since the buffs to wolf are barely anything and doesn't solve it's main problems.

The Pseudo Spirit playstyle he has with the Batform is still alive and well, only slightly weaker. I honestly expected Medusa's Hair to be nerfed.
Hellfire did not need any Nerfs.
Wolf is still weak. The problem with scent orbs is not the spawn rate but the detection range. The basekit range is so short that If you can see the orbs you can track the survivor just fine without them.
The pounce attack is too predictable and easy to dodge.

Shoot you're completely right about medusa hair and I thought for sure it was going to get a huge nerf. That completely slipped my mind when I read the patch notes lol. But yeah I agree they did barely anything to Wolf that is meaningful. Wolf will still be his worst power for both tracking and chasing, pounce is still just an worst wesker dash. Esp since you still can't control when you do use the 2nd pounce or have the ability to cancel it.
