DBD Wiki - Pinhead
Recently I've stumbled upon some information on the DBD wiki for Pinhead. Lament Configuration Respawn times specifically. The info reads as following:
Lament Configuration (Respawn Times):
- Picked-up by The Cenobite: 10 seconds
- Solved by a Survivor: 45 seconds
- Removed from a Survivor's grasp: 45 seconds
- Removed from a Survivor's grasp by The Cenobite attacking: 30 seconds
I get the first one. Finding the box by yourself on the ground.
I get the second one. The Survivors solving the box and finishing it.
What I don't get is the 3rd and 4th one. Whenever you teleport to a survivor solving the box, the standard cooldown is 45 seconds. If you down a survivor with the box, the cooldown is 10 seconds. Can anyone please explain what these 2 mean? How can you possibly remove the box from a survivors grasp? and when does the 30 second cooldown come? Thank you in advance

Im gonna guess its when he teleports, and when he downs a Survivor holding the box

Teleporting has 45 seconds cooldown, downing a survivor with the box has 10 second cooldown… I still dont know where this 30 seconds come froms.

To be honest, entirely possible it's a feature not included in the final game but whose code remains. maybe there was meant to be different cooldowns but it was scrapped into development?

Idk if this is something new thats gonna be added in dbd. Idk if pinheads gonna get a rework on his box…

I doubt it's something that's new, especially if it's also not listed in the Change Log section

Might be due to Franklins and item droppers? Franklins used to work on pinhead but it was actually a trap perk because, I forget the specifics but iirc picking up a Franklins box wasn't as valuable as finding it yourself not to mentioning stopping chase to pick it up
