Why bother farming BP in 2v8 when normal gives you more with just 1 offering?

1v4 currently gives 150% survivor bonus, with 1 100% bp offering I get more per hour making 2v8 redundant. Why was the bonus lowered from 350% to 250% shortly after release? Killers are having a miserable time trying to find games and there's not much incentive to play survivor.

Because I don't have to use bloody party streamers for it, which I don't have a lot of. Green offerings are a nightmare to stock up on. Escape cakes are easier, but I still run out of those if I leave them on too long. I'll take a free 250% boost happily. Besides, I'm escaping in 2v8 way more than I escape in 1v4.

I must have gotten lucky then because I have more escape cakes than I know what to do with

BP offerings are a jinx for me, anytime I play them I get tunneled out before I can earn any decent BP. I also have way more fun in 2v8 than I do in 1v4.

Most of my 1v4 games last more than 10 minutes and I'm lucky to get more than 20k points before bonuses. 2v8 games are usually shorter and I can expect around ~25k for a normal match. The only way 1v4 would be consistently better is if other people also bring offerings but as a solo queue player I have no control over that. So for me 2v8 is by far the better grind mode, not to mention being way more enjoyable anyway. I'd play 2v8 over 1v4 without any active incentive.

Why are you breaking BP bonuses down on per hour basis if you aren't a new player? Do you have some secret plan for those blood points?

Play 2v8 if you like it, the BP bonuses are just minor incentives.
