Haddonfield Deadzone

This room on the 1st floor to left when you enter the front door spawns nothing in it and honestly seems pointless. They could add a pallet or make that window next to the chair a vault. Of course it now goes nowhere since they removed the house.

And I get that they removed the house back here to make the map smaller but they didn't even bother adding any filler tiles. But an Exit Gate does spawn back here sometimes.

    they should just go back to the first visual update then go from there. removing everything was so dumb and made the map look visually stupid 2

    They should revert it back to one of its previous versions and adjust it.

    Nobody wants to play on a massive deadzone.

    They did a good job though on fixing the busted windows in all the houses. That was super frustrating with m1 killers.

    They deffinitly could have added a few more pallets along those barren parts of the map though for sure.

    The Haddonfield rework was a disaster. Worst map rework they've ever done and a huge blow to my faith in the map department. They added a gaping hole next to every second story window vault, took a wrecking ball to main building, deleted a chunk of the map, and then added some completely unusable edge pallets at the walls that are less runnable than Z-windows for survivor compensation and called it a day.

    The thing was, Haddonfield's previous iteration was not really survivor sided or killer sided. It had elements that were very unpleasant in both directions - huge exposed middle, high visibility, easy 3 gens for killer, and strong main building loop and stupidly strong double window houses for survivor that were a big middle finger to m1 killers. It was a pretty balanced map, though not exactly a healthy kind of balanced, just balance in the way that it screwed both sides over equally. Now it's more killer-sided than Midwich. There is just nothing runnable on that map. It only exists as some kind of delayed karmic balance for all the Haddonfield offerings survivors ran five years ago, like a disturbance in the Force caused by the ragequitting of killers from eras past. I can't think of any other justification for its current state of disrepair.

    We gave them Feedback on the PTB? Why wasn't it addressed then? Does it take too much time to go in and fix it before the PTB goes live? I am not sure - but then again Killer Tweaks/Reworks - Perks and map reworks take years….
