Ease of Use: Make it More Obvious What the Active Command Is
The Houndmaster is very cool and has a TON of potential, but one of the most repeated pieces of feedback for her is how difficult she can be to use.
The most common frustration I’ve seen repeated by myself, friends and streamers all alike is watching them start charging the wrong command that they don’t want to use.
It is not at all easy or fast to tell which command is active without taking time to read text on the screen or try to differentiate between 2 similar and small dog-shaped icons in the lower left corner of the screen.
The number of times I’ve seen someone start charging a Command and then say “Wait, which command am I using? That’s not what I wanted to do” is astronomically high. Charging the power and cancelling has a pretty significant cooldown and slowdown, so it’s important players can tell which command is active immediately.
Houndmaster would be significantly easier to use if she had a diegetic UI/UX element that showed what the active command is, very similar to how The Knight has the active Guard displayed next to his sword.
This would make information immediately and easily available for the player, and reduce the number of mistakes made.

THIS PLEASE
I noticed this was quite the annoying problem to deal with.

This clip of Hens333 is exactly what happened to me and is what I’m describing many are experiencing: Begin using the wrong command because you’re more focused on the chase than trying to read the text at the bottom of the screen and having to restart charging the power and still suffer a movement penalty for it.
I believe that, as such a complex and high-skill killer (that is riddled with bugs that make her incredibly frustrating to play and will likely take a long time to have these bugs refined over time), it is very important to make sure she is as smooth to play as possible.

I’m just slowly accumulating clips of this happening because I’m beginning to think there isn’t a single person that played Houndmaster who hasn’t experienced this frustrating mix-up.

Wouldn’t it be easier to put the search command on the first power button and put the chase command on the second power button?
I don’t really get, why she has to switch command, when she only got two?
