I have heard that the Houndmaster is not so good yet atm. I actually wanted to buy the Chapter but should I wait?

Have you already got it? and if yes, why?

    I got her with shards because I've wanted a hunter with a dog for a really long time. She's really rough atm but I'm slowly picking up on how she actually works. She's not good but I think it might take a minute until we figure out her potential, in reality it's just the difference of her being B or C tier but that difference is fairly significant imo. I think she's going to see more buffs regardless though.

    She is quite weak, but the most concerning aspect is all the bugs. I suggest waiting to see if she receives bug fixes and possibly a quality-of-life update(s) before purchasing her.

    I tested her on the PTB and I really didn't like her. It's not even that I hate playing her. She's just not very interesting to me and the visual design is not that great either. They could have made her pretty damn terrifying, if they went a bit more in the direction of body horror.

    I'll probably buy her with shards at some point, just for the perks but I'm really not interested in playing her right now.

    She's got some bugs to work out... You can still play her if ya want, but personally I'm going to wait til they iron out the bugs before messing with her again.

    I don't think body horror is necessary, she just needs a more intimidating and piratey outfit. She's a little too glitzy, I think it hurts what's there without adding much to compensate.

    Though if the Entity literally is a worm in her brain then they should play that up a little more in that scar on her face.

    Right now - her power feels pretty clunky. I'd wait for the first hot-fix, if I was you.

    She's broken/clunky/unreliable as well as undertuned. She might feel decent against survivors that don't look behind them but against survivors that know how to play against her, she's very easy to avoid.

    In this state it's not a killer i will play for much longer. I gave her another try and my opinion just got worse.
