DBD is too grindy imo

The amount of bloodpoints you gain (especially for survivors) is too low, I know it used to be worse, but its still not good.

I don't wanna waste a perk slot for a perk wich gives me slightly more bloodpoints every game(talking about WAGLF, BBQ is perfectly fine) . The amount of hours you need to spend in order to have a P3 LV50 character with all perks is too much IMO. And, like I said, WAGLF its not even worth running; I had disappointing experiences with this perk, even with 4 tokens.

Overall, this Is just my opinion, let me know what you think, lets not make this a toxic discussion, please.

The game isn’t too grindy IMO but that’s my opinion.

It's only grindy if you make it grindy if you prestige your characters then you should know the consequences you're in for a grindy time you have the option to not prestige and easily avoid grinding. It's like playing a different game with prestige like COD and complaining about it's to slow to level up the prestige doesn't make a big difference other than well being prestigious tbh if you think the game is grindy just don't prestige characters but I guess that is my opinion.

No it isn't. You can prestige a character in like a couple days. That is too much work? Not to mention the system makes it so not using items and offerings is actually a waste. If you save stuff up. You will need to play countless more matches before prestiging if you feel like you're wasting items. So therefore use an item with 2 addons and an offering every SINGLE match.

You also know you can use BP for anything right? I used to spend shards on perks I already had to get the 150k bp. I sooo regret doing that.

Get any killer really. Legion I like for this. Use BBQ and streamers or pudding. You can pull 96k BP a match technically. Everyone can escape and you still easily get 25k so 75k a match. I've gotten over 200k in a single match before when you get lucky and survivors also use streamers.

Or as survivor just invest in the BBQ perk for survivors. Were gonna live forever.

Its fine, bought leatherface the other day and leveled him to 50 in one sit down while only playing survivor. The fact there is so much to unlock on just one character at least keeps you spending points and that's not even going into loadout maintenance. Always something to work towards.

Ya know , you don't have to go P3...

That would cut your grind by a LOT and you won't lose anything.

You know , you don't have to go P3-50, just go P0-50.

Don't prestige at all and you will cut that HORRIBLE grind by a LOT and won't lose anything, trust me.

It takes me like a week to Prestige 3 a character. So not that long actually. Not to mention the fact that Prestige is completely optional anyways. So only getting to level 50 can take one or two days.

Prestige is a waste of time and BP if you get cosmetics and wayyyyy too time consuming for survivors.

Don't prestige anybody other than Nurse, just so when you use her everyone is already shitting their pants because P3 Nurse is the scariest thing in the game (seriously though don't prestige anybody it does next to nothing other than give you a bloody version of a cosmetic)

I don't even see a reason to prestige and actively regret having done prestige on my leatherface. As far as grinding out bloodweb for perks I think it is a mess that should be looked into. THe game has a bad habit of trying to force perks on you that you don't want repeatedly and getting upgraded versions of perks is far too random. I've got level one perks that I haven't seen the level two variant of and gone through lot of bloodwebs to try and get them. I have a majority of teachables, but they rarely show up. Not to mention that you can struggle to level a killers own perks if the bloodwebs just keep generating junk webs. The most common thing I see in my webs is Insidous, which I don't use, don't care for, and can't seem to get rid of. I'd rather just buy my perks outright after all the time I've spent playing the game. Then again I am probably about to take some time away from it cause I don't feel I can play the way I want to play and get any fun or reward right now.

"If you dont wanna grind for prestige, don't prestige "

Thaaaaats not the point. I want to prestige characters. Everyone would prestige characters more often if it wasnt that grindy. Im fine with grinding ,but this is too much.

Fixing the grind would help new players, and it doesn't hurt anyone.

As someone who’s unlocking all tier 3 perks on all killers the game is indeed Grindy

Best way to avoid the grind is to not play, boom instantly 100% of the grind is removed and I can say its not even an exploit this is dev built-in.

The devs already acknowledged that the game, especially with every new chapter has become grindier. The are testing new way to rework the bloodweb.

My guess would be, they are focusing now on their servers, afterward they can start fixing stuff.

grind for t3 perks is a lot for new players but grind for prestige SHOULD be grindy. you dont need prestige.

I do think it's time we retired the perk tiers somewhat. The way it should work is that if you unlock tier 3 in a character's Blood Web, if you prestige the next time you see that perk it will already be tier 3. No need to get tier 1 or 2 again. This way when you prestige a character you're not grinding as much for every perk. By the time you hit p3 you should have most of the perks at tier 3, meaning you only need to go to level like 60 or something to get everything instead of like 150 as it is now.

  • What if you want the Prestige Clothes, How am I going to get them without Prestiging?

Rhetorical question, the real problem is that the Prestige System could easily as well use a rework, One that allows us to get Prestige Clothes without deleting effort.

I think the Devs should just admit their idea with Prestige just don't cut it and make their customers more happy about the game here.

Imagine in Overwatch, I would delete all my character's abilities to get a special skin.

It is, playing killer for fast BP should not be the answer. Imo 🤣
