Does matchmaking counter your goals?

If I'm doing a tome challenge like say "open 10 chests" the game matches me against killers using the Drac chest blocking perks or Cut Coin offerings.

It seems no matter what my goal is, the matchmaking counters it.

Do you have this experience?

    No, matchmaking counters my fun.

    Yet I still continue to play and chase the dragon, like some substance abuse feen. Smh.
