Nancy, Steve, and Demogorgon Adepts Still Missing?
The Nancy, Steve, and Demogorgon Adepts were removed when the DLC License for Stranger Things was not renewed by Netflix… however we now have the Stranger Things DLC in the game, in fact, we've had it for awhile, and the Adept achievements have not returned.
When will we get them back?

Pretty sure they said they have no intentions of bringing them back.
Same goes for the Hawkins achievement

Is it in case it gets removed again or something? I just realised Demo didn't have an Adept after "getting" his :')

I think the reason is more for the fact that some have gotten the new version, and there would be no way to revoke the achievement for those that do not own the Stranger Things DLC.

Achievements are not devs biggest priority. It was always like that. Look at outdated achievements like Evil Incarnate or Left For Dead. I've seen many complaints about these achievements over the years but they never got updated.
