Is prestiging even worth it anymore?
With the cosmetic store I've just stopped prestiging all together. I wanted to get my spirit to p3 but I feel so unmotivated to actually do it. Only killers I have p3 lvl 50 are freddy, Legion and pig. Spirit is p2 currently but I don't have any motivation to p3 her since I like the school spirit outfit better. You can't even see the cosmetics in game too so what's the point. The extra "luck" is barely noticeable it's not even worth it. Does anyone even still prestige? I guess you could do it for the grind and if you like the bloody outfits but aside from that there really is no point. I wanted to prestige my plague as well but I'm feeling it's not worth it in the end. I'll just stick to my shop cosmetics.

No it isn't. The bonus helps but it's too abysmal to matter. You only do it for the cosmetics.

From time to time, I prestige a character when there's an event that requires you to use "offerings" (I'm not putting any bloodpoints into a character beyond Level 50, unless it's already P3). Save up to 1 million bloodpoints before you do it, then spend it all on the bloodweb and always buy event offerings. Use the event offerings to gain even more bloodpoints to progress your prestiging. Rinse and repeat.

If you dont prestige, you are just another CASUAL!

I think so but I like to show off my P3 full set and strike some fear into survivors. I'm far more inclined to be intimidated by a full P3 killer then a default one, you can immediately see they've put the time & points into that killer and that they know what they're doing.

Personally I have almost all killers on P3 (no, not you Trapper,), still prestiging Pig and Cannibal (both P2) and planning to get P3 Dwight, Ace, Feng and Kate when I unlock all teachables.
I feel like throwing BPs on characters that are not P3 is a waste.

The bonus is almost nonexistent.
You lose 4.5 mil bloodpoints to prestige a character. If you used them on your survivors and killers, you would get 90 level 50 bloodwebs. I don't think that extra luck will help you recover those lost 90 level 50 bloodwebs ever tbh.
As you said, prestige clothes are not really important since we already have a cosmetic store. However, you already made her prestige 2, giving up right now would be kinda stupid. That's just my opinion though.

I would rather have all perks all characters than clothing.

ALTHOUGH, just because you've spent points on a character, it doesn't mean you necessarily play them! Case in point... me and Nurse!
2 -
You know that you can still get all perks after P3-50, right?
What are you? CASUAL!?

That's an old picture! How do we know you haven't p3d lvl 50d every single character in this game including the unreleased ones?! You're fake you filthy casual!!!

A few blood splats on your face isn’t worth it.

I think it's only worth getting p3 on licensed killers. My pig is p3 and Myers will be soon I hope. Survivors aren't worth prestiging unless it's going to be your main.

This.
I still haven't got it yet. Glad I never P3'd everyone as I would be way behind.

It is for the cosmetics if you like it, or like having to starting back from 0, other than that...I don't think so.
1 -
It's for bragging. Totally worth it.

For and alternate version skin of licensed killers and survivors yes. Other than that, it not worth it.

i would only prestige characters because I think I’m actually going end up doing it on accident (I did it once and I was v upset). But I mainly prestiged characters I really like

Btw, Nurse, Spirit and Hag have every single perk at lv 3, its like playing Kill Your Friends whenever i use one of them, didnt reach P3 with the Plague yet because i waste too much time waiting in lobbies.

Well played sir, well played

As a console player I say, only legacy one? Git gud also loooool only p1 plague? I have every character p100 level 250.

OMG this forum is making me sick, are u really dumb or just pretend being it? Im a legacy 3 Nurse, i use those clothes because i bought them and wanted to use all at same time, enough with this, i wont open the game just to take another screenshot to humiliate you.

I guess if you troll you'll get trolled back? Idk?

No. It's just a gigantic waste of time.
There's no point in resetting your progress to Zero and losing all addons/offerings you may have acumulated, just to get virtual clothes. Who cares about that stuff, for real?
The "better chance of getting good stuff" is a myth. It's all RNG and I have literally hundreds of the best addons and offerings spread across all the characters I play.
All the killers I play are P0 50 with full Tier III perk repertories. Anytime I come up with an idea for a build/loadout, I can carry it out immediately. I value that much more than anything else.
IMO what matters is learning to play, winning matches, being versatile, etc. Will prestiging a character make you a better player, help you win matches?
No. Then there's no point.

Pretty much

Worth it? Meh probably not but I P3 all my killers for collection purposes.

On my P3 Claudette I usually get 2-4 purples/iri items however that's like 1000000000002 bloodwebs after I P3'd her. Not sure if that's not pure RNG luck tho.
If your time is limited then no don't do it. Otherwise you gotta spend that capped bps somehow.

I p3'd my Spirit because I think she looks cool covered in blood.
Same reason I'm doing it for Plague right now.
However IMO most killers don't look that cool at p3. Plus the fact that I like the cosmetics better on most of them. I especially hate the prestiged weapons. That big ugly vein on the weapons just looks dumb.

I’m actually probably gonna p3 all my survivors.

I like to get costumes options, the more the merrier :-)

Only worth it if you like bloody clothing look. I don't like it at all on survivors. So I never bothered prestiging any of them except Jake for the achievements.
On killer, I only like the prestige look on two of them. Myers and Bubba. I main Myers as killer so I prestiged him for the badass P3 look.
2 -
If you use Quentin than he has to be p3.
1 -
Only if you love blood on your main
1 -
Was there a time it was worth it?
1 -
His alternate outfit looks way better though.
That said, my Quentin is P-50, but because he is my main. I never use the bloody clothing though.

It's not worth it anymore. Maybe at the very beginning because all those guys got glowey items.
1 -
Easy answer, no, just bragging rights and better items in Bloodweb.

I only prestige my characters to get a "reroll" on perks if i didnt get the ones i wanted the last time around. Of course, ive also felt the buyer's remorse when the first two perks on my bloodweb after a prestige were insidious and monstrous shrine....sigh

Kaoiken?

Agreed. The bloody outfits were once a great incentive, before you had so many choices that you often wouldn't wear them anyway. The huge increase in perks available contributes to it being a huge waste of time.
It's unfortunate that I usually love starting back from zero and discovering combinations, just making do with what I have. Problem is, apart from making the bloodweb less grindy, BHVR have done absolutely nothing to make Prestiging have any appeal even to those of us that enjoy the reset feeling.
So while I'd love to do a reset on my favourite character in theory, I feel held back by the reality of how terrible the current Prestige system is and that it's practically all loss, no benefit.
