Houndmaster now has a guaranteed Hit with Snug
Todays patch has buffed Houndmaster Dog to vault Pallets and windows faster then a Vault build Myers if a Survivor drops or vaults a pallet or window and you send Snug to chase will no grab or injure its inconsistent between the two but its never a miss. If the survivor not vaults and dodges snug you can m1 them

Snug was already at the window with the survivor? I don't see the issue. Snug should get the hit or grab. It use to take him 3 to 5 business days to get over a pallet or window.

Are we really complaining about, at absolute best, a mid B tier killer? Not even saying I think k she's there but absolute best case.
6 -
Yeah but people are calling this the new scamper chucky so dont expect this to last
1 -
Ok
So as a killer she has a power?
9 -
It's weaker than a Pyramid Head or Dracula being able to directly hit you with their power while vaulting.
Also anyone calling it the new scamper Chucky is just showing a lack of understanding about what made scamper Chucky need a nerf. I wouldn't trust their opinion.

basically

not anymore, he takes 0.45 seconds which is faster then survivor fast vaulting. houndmaster is like Xenomorph or Nemesis now. fairely good chase but still needs to wait between hits. you can technically machine gun survivor if you don't use hound grab and m1 them with search mode to catch-up but it's flimsy. i think if houndsense actually did something like made her dog grab instant down, she might be A-tier killer if her lethality was better and Knot rope add-on nerf doesn't help her case. B-tier is good place to be in as killer.

C at best

knot rope nerf was stupid 2% jeez new meme addon

That's my point. It's her one ability really that gives her any sort of edge. In the case of Chucky his entire kit was broken against low to mid tier survivors which is 90% of the player pool.
I'd personally say she's low B tier, a lot of people just don't really know how to effectively use her powers, including streamers and content creators I've watched complain. I think her new buffs put her safely in low B.

and now chuckys just dead

Not really I can still 4k with him you just need to start your slice and dice a little closer to the survivor it's not hard.

within m1distance yeah

If you need to be within M1 distance that's a skill issue dude not a design issue. All they did was give survivors a chance to actually react to him instead of giving him a guaranteed hit, no killer should have a guaranteed hit just by using their power.
2 -
Pretty much yeah it's a guaranteed now if survs take vault or pallet just send dog to get a hit or grab it lands every time

Wow, she can get a hit in the middle of an animation just like any other killer with a shotting power, unbelievable.

Are we really bringing up the strength of a Killer again, when it is just another Lose/Lose-situation and everyone should know by now that those are bad?
1 -
She's finally threatening and requires a little bit of IQ power to play against instead of just mindlessly holding W and vault. Good.

The RPD is just a bad example since that's any killer with a power to hit over pallets will win at that specific pallet.
But also what's different than any other killer who can hit you during animation?

It's pretty silly. Makes her feel cheesy to play sometimes. It also just looks incredibly jank, to the point where I continue to worry about the qualitative eye of the people letting these changes go through.
I feel the cooldown change was completely unnecessary as well, unless it's another holiday bandaid adjustment like the add-on change and they're planning on addressing it the way people have been asking (longer than current but more consistent cooldown). Having the cooldown be 3 seconds when you have to wait a few seconds for the dog to return is fair enough. Having it be 3 seconds when you get a hit out of a grab (especially a max stack STBFL hit) meaning the survivor has very little time to actually get anywhere before you can throw out the dog again feels pretty cheap. There needs to be some cooldown normalization here.
To BHVR's credit, the redirect transition changes feel amazing, and the hitbox change feels like it's helping with landing those blind fire redirects. The chase command cancel change is also welcome, though at this point there are few reasons to cancel anyway.
