What were the devs even THINKING? Was ANY playtesting done at all? Or did they just want to appease all the crybaby killer mains who were upset about Chucky rightfully getting nerfed, so they brought old scamper back into the game.
This killer is an instant DC now. Literally no counterplay at any tile if the user has a fraction of a brain cell.

I don't want to sound rude or offend you, but when you are using words such as "crybaby" killers on a post that sounds like you are "crying" about something else yourself. Gives you very little credibility or seriousness at all.

Its not even close to old scamper. Its nothing that several other killers cant do…Be for real..

This killer has a simple yet effective counter… Turn to left/right when the dog will try to bite you. My job here is done.

I would suggest playing her as you will realise quickly that her dog often is completely useless and she is not that difficult to counter.
My problem is that as with so many of the new killers, she is incredibly unfun to verse and just adds to the list of miserable killers in the last few years.
I find the mechanic of grabbing me and hindering my progress irritating, the same irritated feeling I get from Pinhead or the Knife spam from Trickster. I don't think they are particularly strong, just not fun to play against and I don't know how to make a game continue to be fun when I get back to back unfun killers as survivor (which also makes team mates go next, which adds to the misery).

I think she definitely needed some buffs but she gets auto aim assist at windows at an unbelievable speed. At least with slinger he has to aim in order to secure a hit like that. There’s no other killer like that besides nurse which is already a pretty broken killer (ps I actually like nurse).

It's nothing like Scamper lol.
Closest comparison is Wesker and I thought people liked them tbh. If you get hit at a pallet you just didn't time the pallet drop correctly and if it's at a window I'm sorry but then you just have the reactions of a sloth, going left or right isn't that hard.

All you need to avoid Snug is a loop that has more than 1 corner in it, or a solid bush.
Loop her normally. DON’T just hold W.

IDK what Chucky has to do with her buffs, you seriously need to stop immediately assuming things when the changes hasn't been out in a week or two

Why every people screams for changes on Mid tier killers while we still have Nurse and Blight in the game? I recently made a discuss about how boring is play agaisnt nurse, blight, spirit and blight, blight, nurse and every time people cries to nerf every killer but noone ask for nerfs to nurse and blight, why?

B tier in your hands, sure. When the best killer players in the game are calling for her to be nerfed, it sounds like the skill issue is actually on you.

Literally who is doing this? I've only seen Hens ask for nerfs and Scott say she's strong but it's too early to decide if she's actually OP or not.

You heared it, "absolute OP" if the user has "even a fraction of a brain cell". Gosh, how I HATE hyperboles like this, they serve absolutely no purpose, but make OP look like they are lacking a couple of brain cells themselves.
Also, the instant DC part doesn't reflect too well on OP, either; its the Skull Merchant situation all over again, where a mediocre killer gets unreasonably hated by a part of the community.

Revert??? Dude Houndmaster was a really weak killer before this buff and had a lot of issues. It sounds like you’re just entitled to your own fun. The world doesn’t revolve around you, sorry to say.

she was bugged to oblivion and they only had to fix the bugs on her, idk why they chose to give her so many unnecessary buffs and basically massively lower her insanely high skill floor

why? She actually had a skill floor similar to pre-rework Hux, they basically decided to make her way easier to play now, at least kudos for fixing the worst bugs on her

The hilarious part?
A "fraction of a brian cell" is all you need to counter her. Looping normally. Using LOS blockers and clutter to avoid Snug. Not running to yellow and holding W at every opportunity.

Revert? Absolutely not... this killer needed buffs, but I do think she may have been slightly overbuffed.
I basically agree with Scott's take; I've clipped it if you want the short version, but I'd recommend the first 6 minutes of this video cause he does argue it well.
The speed the Dog vaults is pretty cracked, rather than having to predict the survivor, you can wait for the vault and score an injury or grab on the other side quite effortlessly now, since the dog vaults faster than the survivor does. It also looks stupid cause the dog goes unnaturally fast, the same way cracked background player looked stupid, so it kinda betrays how you intuitively understand the situation. I'd knock this back a little.
The cooldown on her Chase power being 3s, basically the same time as a blade wipe also feels a little unnecessary, 4s cooldown also felt enough to me.
She still needs a slew of bug fixes, and some recall abilities on search for some QoL would be nice... but a slight nerf shlukd reign in the teething problems, however revert would be just as bad a direction to go.
