Fix The Plague
I don't know why when I hit my puke and see the survivor animation and hear the sound playing but the survivor doesn't get infected or injured. I opened up someones twitch stream, they get hit by plagues puke and guess what? Animation plays from survivors pov and he didn't get infected. The survivor streamer was confused how he wasn't infected because it was a clear hit.
Please fix the plague. Her power isn't working properly.

This is called client-side server-side distinction, is just a minor side-effect of plague having server priority.
If you are getting affected by that, you are at least compensated with better lunges from the bad ping, so try to capitalize on that instead

If they do that by killer-side, this killer will be even worse to play against. No killer should be rewarded by bad ping.

Fixing her hit detection should do.

This is the problem with this game's community. If something is killer-favoring, it gets changed. If it's survivor-favoring, we leave it as is "because you just can't have survivors not having fun!" But you CAN have the killer not having fun. I see how it is.
