I wish Dead By Daylight had more official merchandise
My brother brought up a good point as we were unwrapping gifts today. He said he had tried to find me some actual DBD merchandise, but it was hard to find. I know there are a few things, but the majority of stuff that's out there is bootleg or things artists make. It's not official stuff. And it's not in places like Hot Topic or GameStop or Spencer's.
When you look at Five Nights At Freddy's, the merchandise is out the wazoo. They've got lot of toys, books, graphic novels, all kinds of stuff. I know the DBD licensed characters would be a logistical nightmare, but the original character are cool enough to stand on their own two feet. There really should be DBD Funko pops, T-shirts in hot topic, plushies in game stores and comic shops, keychains, stickers etc. I would love to have my own Plague figure, along with doctor to go next to my Neca Pinhead so I'll have all my main killers on the shelf.

I could do with a DBD shirt or something myself. I just haven't had the motivation to look for one, or rather I haven't seen any advertisements for such a thing.

Their shop doesnt have much. Nothing i want to go out of my way to order anyway. As for funko pops they canceled a deal with dbd so Youtooz has been making them, so far 12 characters. But they are also like an order only limmited supply based on how many orders they get. Will never see it in a store. But yea wil how many players they have and how much money the game makes off constant chapters and cosmetics, im surprised they have next to nothing in terms of official representation.

My kids love FNAF and while there is alot of merch, most of it seems aimed at a younger audience. My kids have plushies, lego-like sets, figurines, and even the novels are aimed at a younger audience as my 9 year old enjoys them and they're written pretty simple. DBD is specifically geared toward an older audience and I don't think we are into merch as much as kids are. I have the DBD comics, board game, a couple of hoodies, and the youtooz (and honestly, I think the latter aren't worth the money). So basically, I don't think DBD would stand to make as much money from merch as FNAF does.
I do know they had statues, the name of the company who makes them escapes me, and I did contemplate buying them (think I saw Trapper, Hillbilly, and Spirit) but i was looking at like several hundred bucks for each. Couldn't justify the cost.
