Does it take you ages to find lobbies as well?
It literally takes me around 5 minutes to find a lobby…sometimes even longer? Is that normal? Survivor event mode here.

Yes, it’s taking me 5 mins as well. It’s probably because people are on vacation for the holidays so the player base shrunk. Either that or Marvel Rivals lol.

Yes. I just log off and don't play at that point. I'm assuming it's the split queues as the main cause. I've noticed the overall quality of the game just goes down in general whenever there are multiple queue . It doesn't matter whether it's an event or a special game mode. The queues are just longer and the match quality is significantly worse.

Yeah 5 minutes, just going to get worse unless they can get a popular IP for the next chapter.

As someone, who was raised with Commodore 64 in the 80's, and 90's internet connection, 5 minutes is a cakewalk. People are way too impatient these days

My queues were a few minutes long a couple days ago but they're better now

Mine were like 60-90 seconds a few days ago, but generally I don't have to wait more than 30 seconds, usually less.

Played 5 survivor games this morning (somehow with all 5 escapes!) and 4 of them were at least 3 minute queue and 1 was instant.
Two of the games were against the same Trapper and had the same survivor 3 games running, and another one in two non consecutive games. It's the weekend and this doesn't normally happen. Some people will be away but I get the feeling people are sick of this event (It has been pretty bad), playing other games and will return once there's just the normal mode again. Normal solo queue right now feels like people are playing for their and their families lives, so doubt many are playing that instead.

Yeah, I've never had queue issues before so it was a bit odd. Funnily enough though, every game I actually had team mates who were perfectly matched to me. My games felt great. If the devs weren't on break I'd honestly have thought they were playing around with matchmaking. The games felt good so the queue time wasn't a huge issue for me.

It does feel like that today. Had decent Solo Queue team mates and escaped all 5. They were against a Death Slinger, 2 Trappers, Ghost Face and a Dracula but all the killers were decent players, a couple were tunnelling but we still got 3 or more out.
It felt the same one day in the week. If it wasn't for the other surrounding days that were killer stomps non stop I'd think MMR had been changed. Probably just lucky though and will get every comp wannabe Blight and Billy again next time I play!

Oh you too? Damn, I am in the same boat, I remember waiting a solid 15 minutes with DOS commands to get into Windows 3.11 just so I could play this hot new "Myst" game everyone was talking about. We waited, and liked it! Kids these days…
But I will admit, the wait times are longer than I am expecting as Surv. I'm getting 5 minute waits, usually I get pretty instantaneous queues and my Killer queues are longer.

Yeah queues are slow for me playing survivor but incentive is almost always higher on survivor

I had this today too. Got a mix of Killers last several days. Then today, nothing but Vecna, Nurse, Drac, OBSCENELY SWEATY NURSE, Vecna, Huntress, Huntress, Huntress… nobody fun or interesting, just strong or ranged Killers. Then I got a cool Chatterer Main who was super chill and fun to play against, and we all lost after a hard fought battle. Oh and one Wesker and another four-slowdown Nurse who both lost server connectivity.
I got out against everyone except for the Nurses, Chatterer, one Vecna, and a Huntress.
