How to Build Stake Out
For a long time, I've loved Stake Out as a Perk, but could never find a proper build for it for the life of me. If any of you guys has any ideas for how to use it properly, please let me know. In case it helps, Stake Out works like this:
For each 15 seconds you are standing within the Killer's Terror Radius and are not in a Chase, you gain a Token up to a maximum of 2/3/4 Tokens.
When Stake Out has at least 1 Token, Good Skill Checks are considered Great Skill Checks and consume 1 Token.

You don’t really need to build around it, it’s a good stand alone perk.
So long as your fighting a killer with a normal Terror Radius it’s always good. Faster actions and more Blood Points.
Plus you can look at the icons and use it as a pseudo killer tracker.

I use it on my build for Detective Tapp, I'd like to call it the "Gen Focused/Aggressive Survivor" build, which consists of Stake Out, Detectives Hunch as well as Windows and Lithe.
I use Stake Out simply because it's a counter Ruin and when the killer is in my area i tend to rely on my aggressive side more than my Objective side, sometimes i don't even know that i gained a Token when in the TR, i think it all boils down to just use it with whatever, it'll do its thing.

I run a gen build. Stake out, detectives hunch, poised and Dark sense. Stake is used to make gens go faster, detectives hunch allows you to find chests, gens and totems; this is really useful if they have ruin so you just rush 1st gen then you get to see all the totems within 64 meters I love it (helps against NOED). Poised allows a quick escape, also you don't have to complete the gen for poised to work it's if a gen is completed in general. Last but certainly not least Dark sense, allows you to see the killer, works well with poised so you know where to go, also it just is a extension of detectives hunch. Before poised came out I used either Adrenaline or deja vu. Hope this helps
