Freddy can be stunned by his Dream Pallets....
What a world!

enduring is going to be so meta on him

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Masochist Freddy is back! Can't wait to plaster everything with dream pallets and never rupture them.

Wait, what?
Is this a joke?

Does it give spirit fury stacks? I need to know for science.

I highly doubt it. They went out of their way to remove any synergy his dream pallets had over the past 2 years.
3 -
It sounds like they detonate on the stun though. So it could be stun+health state

This is terrible.

Wasn't it a bug awhile back

DARN indeed.

this adds actual counterplay to his pallets because you can use them as a weapon now

Now with Hex: Two Can Play. Place dream pallet, don't respect it, wait for the survivor to stun you, recover fast with enduring and hit them while they blind themselves and run into a wall. I guess I'll try that out if this feature goes live.

It’s pretty silly for a killer’s own power to be a negative against them.

I mean Vecna has the same thing with resetting pallets with Mage Hand.
The bright side is Dream Pallets break immediately like party pallets and Freddy can trigger Hubris off of being stunned this way. So it opens a perk synergy that other killers do not have.

I see what you’re saying but I think that case is a little different, in that it’s not Mage Hand that’s hurting him, it’s the pallet after being reset. Whereas with Freddy it’s his own dream pallet hurting him. I guess maybe it’s not a practical difference. I just look at it and think “why would I use a power that can hurt me” is all.

Is he bugged again? Or is this now a feature?

Enduring + Hubris, Enduring + Two Can Play. Or just blow up the pallet. Or throw a snare to encourage a pre-drop. Or just respect it.
I think some form of joy has been lost in the loss of being able to swing through dream pallets for free. But enabling stuns (and having them explode like party pallets) opens up more things mechanically.

Nothingburger. He can detonate them at will.

It's a feature implemented in the rework. His dream pallets now function similarly to party pallets from the anniversary event, on top of acting like landmines.

I thought this was obvious based on the details they released. When they said the explosion occurred after 1.5 seconds I thought that was pretty clear it meant the pallet drop had an impact.
