I don't get the point of pallet rapture
It feels like the Survivor will get damaged either way, but Pallet Rapture does it with several extra steps, I don't get it. Survivors can also see when the rapture starts, making it quite easy to dodge, or potentionally quite unfun zoning tool.
I think fake pallets didn't need any changes, they weren't the best, but they did their job well, being a trap and all, now they can stun you, so they're not really "fake" anymore.

They somehow made them worse.
Not only can survivors see which is which easily, they can backfire against you, or just not work.

Fully agree. Especially with the fact that the pallets can stun you. Uff…

The blood explosion serves no purpose, a survivor who drops the fake pallet will inevitably lose distance and be put down shortly afterwards.
I think it is more to Freddy's disadvantage as it is now possible to stun him with them.2 -
I think it's good change, but extremely underpowered as always on every PTB. Radius should be 4 meters by default (and green addon should remain the same, not +0,3 meters after this change, as bhvr loves to make) and explode time should be reduced by half. Then it be actually worth all these button clicking, because in current state you better just go through this place without any actions, because there is no resources anyway.

Same with the teleport AOE feature I've had it proc maybe 1/10 games it's just to small to ever matter.

I don't think they are that bad. Survivors can't tell from big distance, if they are fake or not and if survivor is being chase by you, the fact they cannot run through it is kinda enough, they will get hit no matter what.
I am more annoyed you can't tell direction you will be facing when you teleport…0 -

Why would they ever drop it during the chase? They can see it's fake.
But it will work as small slowdown when survivors around the map try to destroy your pallets… They have to run kinda close to check, if they are fake or not.

the gimmick is if a pallet is fake, you go around loop as if it is normal loop, you press rupture, if survivor runs through pallet →they get hit. if they don't, they get zoned. the power is overall weak and irrelevant until super end game but it rely on survivor playing poor.

The Point is that there is no point it's dumb changes that only applies to the most brain dead portion of the playerbase
Anyone above starting MMR should never get hit by dream rupture
It's worse than live Freddy and everyone saying otherwise is lying to themselves or genuinely should never be listened to about game balance ever again

I think the current issue is, if they buff it a lot, Survivors would need to second guess literally every pallet on the game, since if you make the power unreactable (or very hard to react to) it could become a problem, it's pretty much no skill big reward kind of thing, which was one of the reasons Freddy was hated when he was reworked for the first time.

Xernoton said it better than me:
It's really rare when they will result in hit not when you should give it regardless of this power few seconds later. So I see no issues there. Maybe we can increase distance from which you can see that pallet is fake, if it will be too strong after buff (spoiler: it won't).

You can easily tell when a pallet is fake in the PTB.
