Missing Skill Checks Still Wakes Up Survivors...

Can someone from BHVR please explain to me why this is necessary despite the fact that survivors can now use any alarm clock, as well as be woken up by a teammate?

Why is the survivor rewarded for failing a skill check? If I'm playing survivor, and I'm working on a generator, Why would I bother running to an alarm clock when I can simply fail a skill check?

This mechanic rivals the map item being able to show the Trapper's traps, in terms of sheer stupidity.

So please, can anyone from Bhvr explain this to me?

I think they will not let this be like this. I mean the fact they dont get penalized for spamming the waking up interaction is wild. And failed skillchecks when inside the dream makes no sense to wake you up if you ask me. I think the only way to wake up should be via another survivor or through the clocks, and seeing as the clocks are way better now, is very justified…

I don't really see the issue with this. Failing a skill check reveals your location (to a killer who can teleport), costs you progress, and gives you a shorter period of safety than an alarm clock would since there's no immunity period if you wake up this way.

Failing a skill check is probably the worst option in terms of waking up. It's only really useful in a pinch.

    Please remove it.

It's a completely obsolete and unnesessary mechanic at this point. Removing woudn't hurt anyone.
