Recent abundance of pointless "crouch teching"
I want to know if it's become as excessively obvious for anyone else as it has been to me, but as of late I have been versing a lot of survivors that will crouch last second in hopes of miraculously dodging the most stupid possible things. Like I'm talking Pyramid Head's Punishment of the Damned, Draculas Hellfire attack, and as a Wesker main lately I've seen people trying to crouch my Virulent Bound.
Can someone please explain to me what they're trying to accomplish? I decided to make this post after someone tried to crouch tech me playing Chucky.

You should hope they keep doing it

The majority of players understand the game a lot less than they think. They see youtube videos about crouch tech and think its just some kind of mini dark souls dodge or something, without understanding how or why it works. You see it anytime either side gets anything that visually looks stupid compared to what its actual impact is, like huntress hatchets being a common example.
