Freddy Kruger PTB Review
Hey so after playing PTB freddy and being a former freddy main i want to give my honest review on the rework freddy.
Snares: Overall i like the new snares makes them more interesting and fun to use my only gripe is the hinder feels to weak especially at big loops it feels like it does nothing
Change: I would reccomend increasing the hinder from 12 to 15% other then that no changes needed
Pallets: On paper the new pallets sounded awesome however in PTB they are rubbish dont know why survivors are allowed to see which are dream pallets and which are not. the dentoation delay is to long and radius is to small, also why does freddy get stun with his own dream pallets?! also you can stop the expolsion by dropping the pallet with no consequences. so yeah alot of problems with them they need a serious changes
Changes: I would reccomend Survivors can no longer see which are dream pallets, Freddy can not get stun by dream pallets, reduce detonation delay to 0.5sec or 1 sec, increase radius by 2 meters and if a survivor drops them when pallets are deonating suffer a 10% hinder for 6 seconds
Teleport: sad the cancel is gone but can understand it the reason is mainly on teleport to healing survivors spam but dont like the control scheme feels more clunky to use not sure how to resolve that one yet.
Change: if we want the mindgames with cancel teleport then it will have to be you can only cancel teleport to gens not healing survivors
on a side note teleporting to healing survivors who are in the dreamworld should 100% stay does make the dreamworld much more dangerous and forces survivors to play smarter
Clocks/wake up/fail skill checks: understand the counterplay for dreamworld but i do think the sleep immunity is to strong for the clocks since they can be easily accquired instead of traveling to the furthest one.
Change: i would like to see them moving the sleep immunity to wake up action instead of clocks and since clocks dont grant immunity reduce cooldown of them to 15- 30 seconds. If immunity is still to strong reduce it from 30 to 20 seconds
reason why i want the immunity move away from the clocks is due to the ease of access of them now to get such a strong counter there should be a investment which live freddy was traveling to the furthest one you invest the time to get the clock you get a strong reward, so new freddy to make sure that we keep the investment needed to get a strong ability the wake up mechanic will be the best choice as it requires another survivor which will hit their effiency on gens.
Add ons good changes some bad ones the usual with the addons in this game haha
Overall as a former freddy main and huge fan of the franchise some really good changes but areas where improvements are needed but we are so close to getting a freddy that can be used across all levels of play bar hardcore swf which lets be fair are broken asf either give nurse a run for her money haha
i do hope there will be some improvements after the PTB which will give me confidence to use him in my games where im dealing with high level survivors instead of thinking here comes the loss

I like the idea of getting hinder in exchange of cancelling the explosion but for less duration maybe 3 seconds, also good idea would be to remove the explosion radius being "drawn" in the ground still keeping the 1 meter explosion radius, while also making it explode 1 sec after triggering giving enough time to survivors to react, also about the stun maybe make it like the singularity where you get hindered for a few seconds

I'm not sure but teleporting to survivors doesn't gives any visual cue so being able to cancel it shouldn't be a problem, also you didn't mention this but they should increase the detect radius when you teleport since I have yet to see someone being hit by it

I disagree with the first part, the woke up action should be reverted to take longer each time you do it but it start at 5 seconds, as for the clocks they should reduce the ammount of clocks in the trials by 1 or 2 and make them farther of each other (Maybe even make it teleport when you use it to a random place in the map?) and reduce the duration of immunity to 20 seconds (or that the immunity is reduced by 10 seconds when you are hit by a pallet explosion or snare).
Also revert back the change to the black box addon, because the gates are blocked for 15 ONLY for sleeping survivors, so that means if someone is next to the gate and is put to the dying state that means they're awake so they can exit before you can pick 'em up because the addon only works on sleeping survivors
