Updating the Shrine of Secrets

Hello, I've been playing dbd since around 2021 and I couldn't help but notice the evergrowing cast of characters this game accumulates. This is great, but the more characters means the longer the grind becomes for newer players. The Shrine of Secrets was implemented in patch 1.2.0, in 2016.

Four perks, every 7 days.

I think dbd has gotten to the point where the shrine should have at least 3 times the selection of perks, or the frequency should be increased by quite alot to ensure new players are satisfied with playing the game.

If the shrine happened every 3 days, newer players would have double the chance to get that perk they've been waiting for. Better yet, if there were 6 perks to purchase they would have an even greater chance.

There have been hundreds upon hundreds of perks added to the game since the first patch, I think we should give newer players a bit of a chance..

    They should get rid of the SOS and replace that with a market with all perks in it

    Then they could have a "sale" on a few perks every week (or so)

    Doing this will have newer players happy that they can have all perks being available to them and veterans will be happy that the perks they are missing are available (the ones that don't have all characters unlocked)

    I think that to some extent, they may need to keep perks locked behind pay walls because that drives some of their sales. I really don't play Artist much, but I did get her for Pain Res.

    With so many characters though, I think it's right that a bit more going into the rotation would be good :)

    I can't see that being a good thing though...

    Buying a character for a single perk... like you could've waited for it to on the SOS and purchased it that way

    But with my way will have perks become available in all forms of currency: BP, IS, and AC... and will be purchasable in T3 so no more of buying it multiple times BS
