Longest and shortest match you had?

Longest: Don't know the full amount of time but here's how it went. Faced a Legion on Ormond two people dead and three gens were left. I go down but noticed their not picking me up just leaving me on the ground. So I know their slugging for a 4k I basically wait get picked up and wiggle off then run but I go down again and slugged at this point I say screw it I'm not DCing for this I'll just kill time. At one point my brain thought just go to the corner store grab a soda and come back match should be over and you'll be able to move on. Six minutes later I'm come back with soda in hand boom still there same match on the ground. Other person dies since we were constantly switching places of going down and up and I find hatch and leave...this is was about two years ago and I still remember it because I know it was more then six minutes of waiting because this killer wanted a 4k.

Shortest: Lery's and Hillbilly. Five seconds in someone goes down and all three DC when it was just DC no bot or anything just go. Hatch spawns near me and I just made it in before the Hillbilly got me. Wasn't even slugging just a SWF who had a teammate go down very quickly

Longest I'm not sure, I got stuck in some hatch standoffs and 3 gens that were pretty long.

Shortest though was before bots replaced people and there was no DC penalty. Load into match on Badham, my teammates apparently loaded in near Leatherface while I loaded in across map. Before I even got to a gen my first teammate DC'd the moment they heard Leatherface start up his chainsaw (which was as soon as we could move our characters) and the second teammate DC'd a moment after. Third teammate pulled from locker within seconds of the first two DCs, I forget if they DC'd on hook or while being carried to the hook. I started running to where I hoped the hatch would be and had only made it a few steps before the killer DC'd too. I think total time in match may have been under a minute, definitely less than two minutes.

The longest "match" one of us had was 49 minutes (yes we did the math) Full story is in here

The shortest "match" (not counting DCs) was something around 5 minutes. Oni vs wannabe bully squad. Oni wins.

Longest was many years back against an impossible skillcheck Doc holding a 3-gen while playing solo. Didn't get to the server time limit but I bet we sniffed it. No one DC'd either.

Shortest was a hacking teleporting Myers on old dark Coldwind that insta downed and basement hooked everyone. Lasted maybe 40 seconds at best. Still some Nurse hackers around doing this, which is wild to think about.

Longest was a knight holding a 3-gen in that one corner of Dead Dawg Saloon.

I was trying to get value from Weaving Spiders that game, too.

Shortest was when the dc penalties were temporarily removed. The moment they heard Spirit’s phasing, the dc bell rung. Another followed a mere two seconds later. And the third looked at me for a moment, and promptly dipped as well.

The Spirit gave me the hatch after a brief shared moment.

Long for Survivor: My longest games tend to be full bleed out games, where the killer brings knockout. Because it already takes time to pick recover an injured survivor, but with knockout you can’t even see where they’re at so you’re constantly running around the map. Usually done by high mobility killers or exposed ones too (most recent was GF) so chaining those downs and trying to pick up means no gens get done. Everyone bled out eventually but it takes a lot of time. Truly my least favorite experience.

Long for Killer: Honestly they never really go on very long for me. Hatch “standoffs” can get long but in my experience it’s not that common for people to not at least try, and whenever I find one of the last 2 survivors I go after the one that isn’t working on gens, not the one that is.

Short survivor: My shortest game was I think a Billy. We all spawned in a corner of the map as a group and he had lethal. It was a corner so no loops, no windows, no pallets. He came from the direction of the loop so you had no choice but to run away and well everyone was down.

Short killer: I’m not sure what got into their heads but I remember it was 3 Dwight’s (which kill me cause I looove Dwight) but they kept going for the unhook WAY too early. I was wraith so maybe they didn’t see me? But I would get maybe 10 seconds away from the hook, it’s right behind me, and they would unhook. I never tunnel, I always go for the unhooker, but because they just didn’t wait they started dropping like flies. I felt bad and left, deciding to go kick some gens but not a single gen was even started. So. Short game.

My longest match was definitely back when dull merchant was in her prime of three gen mode. I had ones burn maps like dead dawg and just camp the three gens at gallows.

Shortest match, not counting when the killer dc'ed, was probably in solo. Randoms going down quickly to a lethal pursuer, infectious fright Nurse or something. I have had a few like that.

My shortest was when I had a hacker. All the gens popped and the exit gates opened before the camera had stopped panning around me at spawn in.

Longest was a Wraith during the 3gen Overbrine meta when there were 3 gens literally right next to each other and he parked himself there from spawn in. I ended up finding a commodius toolbox in a chest and it gave me and a Mikaela just the boost we needed when he was distracted kicking one of the other gens our two team mates keep going at. The Wraith wasn't hooking, just slugging so he could keep regressing the gens, but I didn't let go of my gen that time and he ended up grabbing me instead of downing me. He obviously didn't know what to do about that because he hesitated briefly before going to a nearby hook and it was enough for the Mikaela to duck back in and finish the last of our gen. I didn't time the game but it was LONG. IIRC he ended up with a 1k and it was just a pure waste of time.

Longest match not counting hatch standoffs was loading into a 1v1 against a Huntress on Blood Lodge.

I successfully repaired the 2 gens I needed and opened the gate. I *think* thats how I got the Left Behind achievement but it was so long ago that I dont remember.

    EDIT: Lasted about an hour

I think my second longest one was about three and a half hours. Claudette on top of a haybale on old Abbatoir, iirc. Might've been, idk, 2019?

My longest was over 12 hours iirc. I know that one was in 2018 because Legion wasn't out yet. Can't remember the specific time, because I went to bed after a couple hours of the stand-off, also bugged inside an object, stuck without a way out.

Shortest was probably in a similar time period. I remember a game lasting two seconds because the only person who loaded in DC'd instantly.

I wish I timed it but i spawned in as Bubba on Badham with Lethal Pursuer, bee lined shack and basemented everybody. Game was over in roughly 3 minutes

Longest match was when I was hidden with another survivor in springwood one of the houses until killer went AFK in 2vs1. Then we fixed remaining gens and escaped but it took almost 50 minutes.

Shortest normal match probably agains't bubba who downed us all somehow with same chainsaw using lethal in less than 30 seconds. He had the iri add on extending chainsaw with each down.

Like @GentlemanFridge my longest was also against a Knight on Dead Dawg Saloon, though fortunately he did not have the corner gen setup.

Soloq, took us around 40 minutes to finally break the 3 gen. I was really happy to have pulled it off, but also said if I was ever in that situation again, I was going to uninstall until they fixed 3 genning (which, eventually, they did).

    Yes.

Hatch standoffs infrequently lasted an hour or more
