Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Indecent servers (and matchmaking)

Does this seem normal to you, for a multiplayer focused game, in 2025?

Why do we, with 40 ping, get a killer that has 300+ ping from the other part of the world?
After almost ten years, and 3500 hours of playing, I see matchmaking is still terrible, not to say worse.

Furthermore, why pallets don't work sometimes? (same game as the above screenshot)

Killer player is using a VPN. For example a killer queueing from China getting matched with North American players.

BHVR refuses to enforce ping limits because they want as many people as possible around the world playing the game. They won’t even show us pings in lobbies. Too bad if it results in a crappy and unfair experience for other players. Unless people start leaving the game in large numbers because of this issue, BHVR will never do anything about it.

I agree, we definitely need to see the killer's ping in lobby. I ended up in countless game where the killer's ping was so high that it was completely unplayable, and everyone just killed themselves on the hook straight away. I don't think that's fun.
