But no South African ones I don't understand Africa is literally the only continent besides meme answers like Antarctica that doesn't have a single server people do play games on this continent btw its not a backwards jungle.

I played against a South African streamer once. When I watched their vod after the game, at one point I was chasing a Survivor that was totally invisible on their screen. They could rescue them off hook, but obviously couldn't heal them as they couldn't see where they were once they got off the hook. It was funny to watch.
I don't know if that's a ping related issue, but still it must be rough being sent to European servers all the time with 250+ ms ping.
While I'm glad to see they've added another UK server, it's kinda amusing that it more or less makes no difference to me anyway with it being in London, since I'm probably closer to the one in Dublin.

Why open two new us east and west servers instead of just one new us central server? Why do we need two each?

Yeah, I probably should have worded that better. Obviously Dublin isn't the UK. I just meant there's now another server for UK players to play on (and I'm still pretty far away from it).

Dead by Daylight is 100% my special interest. I’ve been playing the game daily for hours for years now. Part of me wonders if the Ohio server came to exist because of how many matches I’ve been playing. 😅

Because in the US like 80% of the population is on either the eastern or western states I imagine.

The Dublin server is a nice addition. My ping has returned to fourty, instead of being at sixty constantly. Fourty is double what I get in other games, but it's still much better than it was.
I've barely played over the last year, but I might get back into the game now.

Dublin server has been around for years , mate… Anyway, it's a Moscow server that Europe needed. Like half of the killer playerbase here is Russian and they all have appalling pings, ruining the experience for everybody.
