Dredge Lore build, I could use help with this one.
Honestly, I've been wracking my brain with this one, and I think I just gave up and used the build I use for Gameplay. The problem I've had is that we know a lot of the Dredge's origin story, but not much of what kind of killer it is. I had an easier time with my Unknown lore build, weirdly enough.
I want some feedback on if what I have would genuinely fit the Dredge Lorewise, or if I'm stretching it too much.
The theme I went with: "You are the Darkness itself; the Druanee, the boogeyman of the Garden of Joy. There is no hiding from you, and the fear of you makes them vulnerable."
I won't go into too much detail for my choices behind the individual perks, but basically its a lot of map-wide aura reveals and screams. The Add-ons aren't too terribly important build-wise. I like the idea of the Lavalier Microphone's effect, and it would probably feed into the "Survivors are never safe from you" feeling, but I also have never tried it because I am incredibly stingy with any add-ons that aren't yellow or grey.
Other perks could work for this idea:
- Lethal Pursuer speaks for itself, but I think I prefer being able to repeatedly use that map-wide effect, even if it comes with the deadzones of Darkness Revealed.
- Nowhere to Hide has a great name that would fit, but I feel like the Killer Instinct effect provided by the Remnant (especially with Followers Cowl) makes more close-range reveals redundant.
- Dragon's Grip could replace Iron Maiden, since it provides a scream and expose as well, on top of being something more controllable than if Survivors hide in lockers or not, but I feel like Iron Maiden fits with "Their fear reveals themselves to you", since they are trying to hide from you
(or make a flashbang or some other perk that requires them to enter a locker but shhh they are definitely trying to hide in fear). - Face the Darkness is currently bugged, it doesn't give the scream bubble or direction notification, but it is really REALLY fitting so I wish it worked properly. FtD is the "paranoia" perk for me. Ignoring that Dredge can easily remove his own TR, on most killers, a Survivor being outside of the Terror Radius means they're perfectly safe: It's their own fear and paranoia that is causing them to scream and reveal themselves.

Thanks for the feedback! I do feel like I'm kind of stretching it with FttE, but I justify it in the sense of the new Obsession basically doing the "and then he's gonna kill me! Oh my gooood!" meme. I really do wish it had a different name though.
And to be honest, I just can't bring myself to include Shadowborn, even if Dredge is literally born from shadows. Its actual mechanic just doesn't fit the idea of "you are a creature of darkness" enough.
If you don't mind me asking while you're here, would you have any suggestions for a Singularity Lore build? I'm pretty settled on Batteries Included (Because, well, he does have a battery, the description of "Being somewhere between man and machine", and mechanically it's like he's siphoning power off of completed gens for his own ends), but I'm pretty indecisive on the other perks.
