Title

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have found myself really enjoying 2v8 this go around and I have a theory as to why. This game mode has very little downtime. Regardless of what side you are playing, there is always something to do, a killer to dodge, a survivor to chase etc. This leads people not to focus as much on the negative since, well, you don't have time to do that mid game. I think this helps a lot in making the game feel more action packed and engaging.

That's my thoughts though. What do you think?

    I'm having fun as well but I do agree that they should get rid of the starting bots.

    Juicing 2 killers simultaneously keeps my brain occupied and stimulated! I just need those bots replaced because they are too busy being spooked or eating herbs

    It's definitely more fun than 1v4 for me, on both sides. However, I don't like the "lazy" trend it's taking.

    II will not blame BHVR too much for the ongoing disaster with bots and Legion, because at least they're trying something, however I'm disappointed that there was barely anything improved over the previous iteration. The 3rd iteration is just 2nd + a few more killers.

    Definitely better than 1v4 I would say!

    Pros:
    -Chases all the time
    -Don't have to deal with A LOT of BS from add-ons and perks from both sides
    -More powerful killers with add-ons integrated to their basekit or with buffs like Wesker having 3 dashes
    -Make sandwichs of two slices of killer with a delicious surv in the middle/double tap.

    Cons:
    -Queue times
    -Legion
    -Bots at the start
    -More surv sided, but I know this is because they are trying (with no success) to make more players play surv

    I agree that feeling active the whole time is a big part of what makes it fun. I think also the fact that there are so many people and the cages are on the opposite side of the map from the down means that there's less focusing on one person — like, less of the killer tunneling one person all match, and also less of the killer getting locked in a 1v1 they can't win.

    It's very easy to find a gen, find a survivor, find something to do — not a lot of creeping around and hiding.

    Just get rid of bots and disable legion or rework it a bit for 2v8. Clearly making one side of the field way too brain off with legion currently

    Can cope with killer que times never getting a match, whatever. Played like 3 killer matches average wait was 15-20 minutes each, had to throw on something to watch.

    Will happily play survivor but not with these stupid bots and legion with the way it is.

    Survivors got nothing but ridiculous buffs in each iteration, to the point where they now even can recover hook stages, but somehow manage to get bodied in every match. It's extremely hilarious, because it doesn't seem to have a solution, on paper they are extremely broken but all the help in the world won't make up for the lack of skill.

    I really enjoy 2v8. It offers a unique experience to the 1v4 mode. I enjoy them both in different ways.

    My problem with this version is that its worse than the last version. If this had been version 2 I'd be enjoying it more, but I think the changes are all bad with the exception of Wesker, Nemy (though he is weak), and the RPD map. Legion I don't mind too much, but isn't thrilling to have in the game, but the bots are awful to have and I really dislike the herbs.

    Not sure if you've played survivor yet, but the bots are taking all the herbs. They know where they are and make a beeline. Nobody is recovering hook stages except bots in my games.

    It's really fun when you actually get into a match as killer but the queue times kill the entire game mode for me and my friends. We end up just playing a couple matches and then just playing another game due to the absurd queue times.

    Then there's survivor, which I had fun with in the first iteration (didn't play the second) but man, the bots and Legion being added really make me not want to even try playing survivor.
