Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

January Stats Time!

I decided throughout the month of January to take stats on the killers I faced as survivor and survivors I faced as killer and figure out essentially how often they were able to do what they're supposed to do. There were some exceptions, if dedicated servers crashed (because that never happens) way too soon in the match (the match hasn't gone on long enough for a killer to get a kill or 2 gens weren't complete minimum) otherwise it counted as the match ending or (and this is coming up much more often in February because of a Wesker bug), the killer or survivors are clearly abusing bugs to gain an advantage meaning the match wasn't fair. I would also like to add that this data does include matches from Chaos Shuffle, so take that into consideration. Anyways, here's the stats:

For the Killer Pick and Kill Rates while playing survivor, the data was taken over the course of 117 matches and I somehow managed to never see a Twins or Dredge. Which is weird because Dredge I feel is kind of everywhere. The award of deadliest killer I'm giving to Oni, both him and Pig got 4ks in all their matches but Pig was only seen in 1 match where I faced Oni twice. The award for saintliest killer goes to Onryo because she had a 0% kill rate despite being played. So sad. The most popular killer, surprising absolutely no one after his buff, is Freddy who I saw a total of 10 times with an overall kill rate of 87.5%, only 5 survivors survived him, that's a lot of 4ks. As stated the least popular killers of the month for me were Twins and Dredge, never being faced.

For the Survivor Pick and Escape Rates while playing killer, the data was taken over the course of 72 matches. The most popular survivor to no one's surprise was Sable Ward, who I saw 37 of, and the least popular was sadly Gabriel Soma who is the only survivor I never saw as killer in January. The survivor with the highest escape rate was Thalita being the only survivor to escape 100% of the time, of course I only ever saw a single Thalita so that doesn't say much. For the survivors who have the highest sacrifice rate, I'll say it's a tie between Nea Karlsson and Cheryl Mason because, although there's a lot of survivors with a 0% escape rate, I saw both Nea and Cheryl 9 times and not one of those 18 survived. Where as most survivors with a 0% escape rate were only see once or twice. Honorable mentions for category of most sacrificed go to Steve Harrington (8/8 sacrificed), Trevor Belmont (7/7 sacrificed), and Ellen Ripley (5/5 sacrificed). At least you were seen. Also shout out to the 2 Lara's that managed to escape. She went almost the entire month with a 0% escape rate until 2 unfortunate matches that were rough. If those matches hadn't happened, Lara would be the survivor with the highest sacrifice rate.
