Should bots be gone?
From most complaints of 2 v 8 with both it ia clear as day how useless they are, some even posts vids as proof. However 1 v 4 is no better either. I do not know which patch or it was or it felt it was during singularity release the bots become worthless.
They fail skill checks ( specially vs a doc) their looping was significantly nerfed from their ptb version so they will literally vault right back into the killer even after taking their first hit.
They always want to heal you or be healed, vs some killers like plague this is very annoying and bots will just cleanse. They seem confused vs some killers like chucky when they hear his fake white foot steps, they go around in circles. They move at the smallest of even a feint sign of killer terror radius.
Bots are one of the reason along with finisher mori why slugging has been rampant imo. When a killer slug a third person to look for fourth, if the third like say me and a swf do not want to be doing nothing for 4 mins we be like fine eat our small penalty leave and you get a shot at hatch, bots now added now denys this as the third slug will just be a bot and killers will use the bot to find you if they decide to let them wiggle off.
Team work wise a bot is awful, bots will instant open and leave via exit gate making a would be possible save impossible especially vs some killers.They will not try to pallet/flashlight/flashbang or take hits for you like a human would so overall they really arent as useful as some people who try to say they are( killer mains mostly says this that they are or they do more than the player who rage quit which is baloney and some of them even go for the bot first till its dead).
Finally as a killer I hate that am being force to play vs bots. By no means I want easy games at all and usually if its just 1 bot ill take it easy on the other 3 people or heck we just farm ( i dont mind it ) , but 2+ bots is just well sorry I kind of want to just be in the next game and try to end it asap which makes me feel bad as i do not wanna seem to be a try hard sweatbag especially when its other fellow ttv like myself.
If I want bots as matches I can do custom mode, as why must my time be wasted with 4 bots and 95% of time the cry babies who kamikaze on first hook does not even give you the worthless bots. So well sorry for the long post but imo I feel bots should be gone, what do yall think, should bots be gone?

I find bots to be like a 30% chance to have that extra pair of hands when u need it most. Ive been saved by bots several times, even had one loop dracula for the entire last generator and buy me and the other player left enough time to open and get out the doors. I think they just need to be fine tuned better, alot better. Like how they didnt know how to get saw traps off their heads and dance infront of jigsaw boxes lol theu just gotta fix things i think.

That's not true the bots in 2v8 are really dumb.
They stand around watching heals even if they can help heal.
I've seen them body block a hook / cage thing and we couldn't get the person because the bot was just standing there like it wanted to save.
Ive seen them get stuck trying to open a chest and they couldn't open it.
They will body block on the RPD map constantly ive seen it even when the killer is right there.
They also don't know how to deal with legion mending.
As someone that plays mostly suviour this is why I don't want bot teamates

The bots in my games are more effective than 90% of the players I am with. They may be janky at times, but overall they understand what to do in terms of objectives etc. Now, to be clear I am not a high skill player at all…so I am going to be matched with other potatoes like me.

I don't know what other peoples experience is like in 2v8, but in all the matches I played they seem to literally never do generators once the first 1-2 hooks occur(Cross map sprinting etc… just in time to have contributed nothing while a player who is a medic finishes healing the person).
If the killers are smart enough to ignore them, it essentially turns into a 2v6.5 as they constantly hide etc… Especially when you need a generator done on the last 10% while the killer is near. Then they added herbs and seem to have forgotten that the bots have 100% wallhacks for herbs and hatches.

But only the forced 2v8 ones.
The regular DC bots can at least make it so the game isn't a lost cause when someone disconnects.

I'm more inclined to believe that bots are good, in 2v8 sometimes I think how bad this bot plays, I look at the nickname and understand that this is a player, and sometimes I think that this player is running well in the shack, but it turns out to be a bot,and mostly in my games as a survivor, it’s the bots that save me from the hook, ultimately they are much better than weak survivors, but worse than average-high survivors
Even without taking this into account, the average queue for a killer in 2v8 is about 20 minutes, without bots it would be 30-40Post edited by sanees on0
