Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I haven’t played dbd in a bit so nemesis getting his cool OG skin and the 2v8 has me playing him in 1v4 and 2v8 but mostly 1v4. I do have fun playing nemesis but it mostly comes from the perks I use on him exclusively like thwack and all shacking thunder. These two perks make nemesis feel like a little more nemesisy seeing people auras after easily breaking a pallet is very fun and that noise that plays when you fall with all shaking thunder is also fun. Of course my mandatory pain res is there to stand a chance. I use serotonin injector which is probably his only addon that is fun and not a # change. I think nemesis needs a couple things first his addons need some serious work. It’s all such butt and with newer killer addon desgin like Freddy and Dracula I can easily see some fun addons that can be made. 2nd I think he needs a movement ability of some kind. I would love to see a fixed dash be implemented into his kit when he reaches tier 2 but move the pallet breaking to tier 3. It’s a slight nerf but dashing should make it worthwhile. 3rd is whipping gens to regress this would be so in character of nemesis. 4th a Mori with a rocket launcher. That would so cool i would spent money on that. It’s all compium however but Freddy got changes and his lisence holders are notoriously hard to work with so I’d imagine capcom which they showed recently still are in good faith and making stuff will let them tweak nemmy. Also they brought OG nemesis at this point anything imo is possible. What do you guys think about nemesis currently has he aged well since his release ,is a buff warranted or he is perfect the way he is

Tentacle needs to be twice as long and footsteps twice as heavy.

1v4 he is in a good spot. Not saying adjustments are impossible, but he's healthy.

Right now, seems pretty weak in 2v8.

He's ok on rpd but getting open levels feels rough

He should be able to damage and infect on first hit. Done. I see no reason why Wesker can and Nemesis can't. And don't say the Zombies are the reason why he can't as they are completely useless 98.6% of the time. ESPECIALLY in 2v8 having to hit Survivors 3 times is atrocious…

The tentacle is actually pathetic. It almost feels like they nerfed it for 2v8. It's like, "Ohp, 1 inch to the right, complete miss." Nobody wants to play Nemesis, or Deathslinger, because of that.

I would change two things about Nemesis:

1° Increase the number of the zombies depending on the map. While two zombies is fine on smaller maps like Midwich or The Game, they basically do nothing on bigger maps like Mother's Dwelling. Not to speak of the bigger maps of 2v8.

2° Remove the sprint boost survivors get when they get contaminated. Nemesis already has to deal with 3 life stages, while having a ranged ability that is worse than Pyramid's. He already gets the attack cooldown whenever he contaminates survivors, giving them a speed boost feels unnecessary and makes his playstyle be slower than the meta allows him to.

If those changes were implemented, I would say he would be fine.

I think he is pretty good when not ran with Wesker in 2v8, antidotes make his power weak but they are needed to make sure weskers infection doesnt get out of control, at the same time the hindered is really nice and I think it even applies when running into zombies.

I think he is fine and the issue lies with the Antidote and his lack of synergy with wesker, maybe if they shared infection it would be worth it, rather than individual instances.

Triangle head definitely needs some love. Yeah zombies can be useful sometimes but most of the times there not. There their for emotional support. Obviously when they are in a loop that it getting used they look absolutely crazy but that happens so far and few between. I hate that the zombies bottle neck his design. I would trade zombies for the stuff I mentioned because his terrible addons are all focused on them.

I feel he’s so slow. Hitting the same survivor 3 times still sucks. Huntress can throw the her hatchet anywhere if they are skilled and a blight can zoom everywhere and hit without an infection. Dracula can do hellfire and dash while traveling around the map super fast. New Freddy can slow survivors travel across the map and zone with pallets. With some stuff adjustment I feel a movement ability would be good. Good survivors or even decent survivors know how to prevent getting tier 2 . I feel a slight nerf to the whip could be an option since I seen alot of survivors complain about it on different Sites. In the end of the day idk I’m no game developer so it’s all dream talking. Zombies suck and would prefer the removal of them for different options because buffing AI is never a good idea.

The infection sucks I agree. It’s not like weskers where it hinders you all it does is make you blue and be able to get hit. I think nemesis needs some stuff moved around and buffs. Maybe zombies removal. His addons in the very least need changes. He is terrible in 2v8 and will be as long as the 3 hit whip is there.

I feel the zombies bottle necks his design and blocks cooler more consistent stuff that can be added but if they were to not do any new additions more zombies would be cool

Yea he certainly suffers in 2v8 compared to 1v4. And when compared to other killers like huntress. Primarily because therea a cure to his t virus everywhere and in 1v4 theres 4 cures or so. But his whip is also very easy to aim, with a very short cooldown, and rewards a miss at a pallet with an instantly broken palletmaking loops last half the time or less compared to others

Maybe a mobility boost upon using a zombie? for map mobility and mind games? I'd take that with a nerf to his tentacle CD

1v4 is an alright spot. He suffers on large maps like most no mobility M1's despite his zombies. Personally I would have traded the random .5 meter range buff and faster movespeed while holding the tentacle out he got to t3 for something like maybe a long range pickup for maybe the cost of longer time to get to T3 while making 6 meters his T1 range.

With the recent buffs he received he's definitely squarely in the B+ tier.

The reduction in contamination needed for T2 was a godsend. With Marvin's blood just two tentacle hits on survivors means you can immediately start munching pallets and going through walls like the Kool-aid man. Nemesis is one of the few killers that I don't mind if I get the game since he can play over pallets very well while at the same time shredding through them very quickly. His T3 now has exceptional range. His zombies will always be a weakpoint in terms of any kind of pressure but they are nice for map awareness and tracking.

His biggest weakness will be his lack of any mobility enhancement making large open maps horrendous for him. Another weakness for Nemesis in the current meta is because he will get a lot of downs with his tentacle rather than M1 he's not a good candidate for any slug meta builds since Knockout doesn't work on Tentacle downs.

Overall he's…….solid. Nowhere near the Nurse and Blight tier and Below the Hillbilly/Spirit tier but definitely doing better than many other options.

He needs his tier 1-2 range increased, and in 2v8 he needs various buffs. (More zombies, more basekit add ons, no more initial infection hit speed boosts)

I don't know what he needs but he's really not very good. Survivors can waste a lot of his time by just holding W because of the 3rd health state. He's overall pretty slow and very punishing when you miss. Tentacle hitbox is not the most intuitive thing. Zombie is also not reliable but it probably never will be so it just can't be relied on.

At the least i would say he needs an add-on pass, since marvins blood and licker tounge seem to be uncontested best combo for him. Marvins blood actually always been his best add-on even though it's been nerfed multiple times.
