Finally. I will be able to play oni and pyramid head efficiently without being handicapped by the controller sensitivity lock. Major W for us console players that like to play killers that require high sensitivity and flicks!

    did they go into full detail? Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s only allowed if crossplay is on

    no they didn’t go into any detail about it since it will be apart of phase 2. Most likely we’ll get more info during the anniversary stream in May. But I wouldn’t even be mad if cross play had to be turned on, as long as I’m able to 180 flick with oni, pyramid head and blight.

    as a console player I’m happy about this, it’ll help me play blight better because it’s hard to maneuver with him.

    I am so excited about this!!! My Acer Nitro 5 stopped running DBD above 50fps. I could not afford to buy a new laptop or gaming desktop, as they cost over a thousand dollars and that’s just a lot of money for me. With 100% sincerity and seriousness, I purchased an Xbox JUST so I could play DBD at 60fps with high graphics settings. I literally bought a whole game console just to play my ONE favorite game, LOL!

    Getting to use keyboard and mouse controls will even the playing field and allow for higher skill expression. I get very angry and very frustrated when Survivors spin to avoid hits I would have got with a mouse. It makes me feel like they are making fun of me for not having enough money to afford a gaming PC every time. With this change, I can just use a mouse and get a special keyboard just for playing Dead by Daylight.

    (Mr. Pope, if you ever read this, it would be cool if you put a DBD keyboard/mouse/mousepad in the shop when this change goes live)

    As a console player, this change is amazing to me.

    It felt so restricted to play on console, as you were limited by sensitivity for certain killers.

    As someone who has played this game for years, I don't know how anyone can play killer on controller. It just doesn't work for so many killers. I just immediately assume someone is a console player when they say playing killer is difficult.

    you either turn crossplay off or you just accept how bad the killer is with a controller
