Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Not sure why did you bother with announcing it, but ok.

It's a shame it got destroyed by the legal issues, tho. It could've been a nice game.

Friday 13th had some really fun mechanics and features but also some really terrible ones. Though you cant really compare current DbD with it anymore - we are sadly missing potential improvements/growth for Friday 13th.
i would GLADLY see a new asymm Horror Game that takes more after Friday 13th and not so much after DbD or the other attempts - and it shouldnt be tied to a single license or be too strict in potential content.

Friday the 13 was a great game that had a lot of things DBD should implement. However, the game offered no incentive to making sure everyone survived. If people started escaping without you, you were likely ######### out of luck as your ways of escaping greatly diminished. DBD at least encourages that people try to help each other escape.

This makes me extremely angry. Do you have any idea where you are right now? You're on the DBD forum, talking about how DBD is a worse game than Friday the 13th? How dare you.

F13 was very fun in its prime but was very whacky in a good way it was never competitive and in some ways felt very unfair for both sides.

F13 was my favorite game from last gen. I had a lot of fun with that one. Damn shame the lawsuit ruined it. I don’t understand why the creator waited over 40 plus years to decide to file a lawsuit; terrible timing. Does anyone know if it was because of the success of the game?

Not when played at the highest level. In that context, killer is easy mode in this game in comparison. Every person with a pocket knife or a teammate nearby so you can't grab. Every person with combat blocks and sprays so you can't slash them down. Rushing the car and phone faster than survivors can even possibly do gens in this game. It was fun, but it was bad.

I was skeptical about this game at first, because I took came from Friday The 13th. I scoffed at the weapon wipe after every hit, and the rocket boost survivors get after being hit. But this game is the far superior one.

The amount of bugs in a single session of Friday the 13th always made DBD look so pristine in comparison. Now that's saying a whole hell of a lot considering the # of bugs that have always been in this game.. >.>
