Taking a break

Matchmaking is a mess.

Only people on are complete noobs who get matched against me (rank 1 killer), or 1k+hour hardcore, tryhard survivors running Adrenaline and Balanced Landing, and run map offerings where they can exploit bad loops (######### you Crotus).

Nothing's fun anymore. I can't even run meme builds without getting Adrenawinned by players who know how run perfectly around every jungle gym and counter my mind games.... It's become a chore to play this game.

Anybody else feel this way?

    DBD is the type of game I only play 1-2 times a week. Too stressful lol. It's hard asking for the middle ground of skilled players because everyone's skill is spread out being differently. Like yeah you may see a tryhard SWF team,but sometimes it's not like they're crazy good you know? Yet, maybe a hypothetical killer isn't as great either. The noobs shouldn't be much of a problem anymore once they adjust the survivor emblems a bit more. I personally get all types of games as killer. Noobs, noob SWF, noobish solos, decent solos, decent SWF, decent tryhard SWF, tryhard SWF, tryhard hard SWF that are tryhard... and really everything in between those. And then it becomes to question... 'well, how good am I?' And however good you are scales this even more. So yeah idk, sometimes I have fun. Other times I don't. Just that type of game IMO.

    ofc, killer has no time to be nice to survivors anymore, before you could not tunnel the injured guy who was facing the death hook, cuz games were slower, but now you have no time for mistakes. not even 1 mistake. If you are nice rn, survs don't even heal anymore they just do gens and adrenawin takes care about the rest! DBD is dying, not even slowly haha cuz ppl are just fed up about their ######### "fixes" and more and more bugs. devs don't adress the real issue with changing in game mechanic, they rather just put out new perk to try and fix that ######### mechanic. it doesn't go that way devs and you'll see that too late, change will come waaaaaay too late and you'll be happy when u have 10k players playing this game. this whole game needs a rework, i have some cool and amazing ideas how to even change survivors so they are not just skins, but to hell with that, i'm not giving ideas to devs anymore. What do i get in return? unbalanced, unfun game! ######### that!

    It might come with a new game mode. Changing core mechanics is too drastic and could lower the player base even more. I don't think they couldn't add additional objectives required to do gens tho. I really hope that something fresh is coming because game became routine af.

    you do realize that player base it not big enough to have more game modes. it will ruin the game which is awesome, so i'm all in for new game mode

    This is kinda true, playing against Legion made a lot of people not bother healing even with thanathophobia. With adrenaline its almost no-penalty genrush. Only noed slows game slightly, but taking out totems prolongs the game by 20s only, not much.

    I have the same feeling, i either face super tryhard 4man swf or 4 chill dudes who are medicore at best. No in betweens. And killers can't tell in lobby which its going to be. They take good killers with crutch stuff only to demolish chill dudes or take other killers with meme builds just to be destroyed by 4man swf.

    Killers should have ability to see who is in swf so they can take better crap against them, but there should be also penalty for dodging (queue did it relatively ok).

    I mean. My point is that I have no problem playing against good players. It's just that good players know every broken spot on a map.

    If I figure out three players have balanced landing on haddonfield, I immediately lower my expectation to two kills maximum.

    It's rather depressing.

    Yeah I've been feeling the same lately, I play a game for fun and found myself not really having fun playing Killer, along side all of the issues in the game right now I think It's time for a brake even tho I just came back from one pre-plague.
