Hooks being removed from Hook Counter in 2v8, Feature, Glitch, or Hacker?
I've noticed while playing Killer, that sometimes the Hook Counter removes a hook indication (cage indication in this mode). I have a clip of it even happening. Was just wondering how this happens, Am I coming across a hacker, a glitch in the game, or is there a feature allowing survivors to remove themselves a hook in 2v8.

Yellow Herbs that spawn in 2v8 remove a hook state for Survivors when used. They are single use but I don't know how many spawn.

I'm guessing a survivor uses a yellow herb. That removes a hook/cage state

As others mentioned, yellow herbs give survivors their health states back.
This rarely comes into play because killers can take them too.

Most I've been able to find is 2. If anyone sees one, I recommend immediately eating it

When bots were on you'd be extremely lucky to find one because they'd take them for absolutely no reason. Some players still do that too but probably because they don't actually know what they do still

It's always a good idea to read event info, I find

One at a time, randomly respawns after use from any player.
There are 3 or 4 green herbs at a time, which also respawn instantly upon use from any player
