Do you think secret map offerings will deter dcing?
i dont think so if they even think its a map offering they will alt f4 and is so making the map offering secret wont solve making them 20% it was more bandaid solution i think

I think it'll be counterproductive unless they make actual changes to the maps themselves. The idea of an operation health is great, but they have to diagnose these issues correctly.
People aren't disconnecting because of the map offering itself. They're disconnecting because a player is intending to weaponize that map. Forcing players into unfun situations isn't a solution. Fixing the maps is.

Probably if they were secret, I think more offerings need to be secret to stop people dodging, that way its more of an Oh what is that when you see it, like black and white ward should be hidden too.

Someone I know who plays occasionally always dodges hidden offerings. I imagine he'll keep doing that. On the other hand I think a lot of people will dodge less frequently. I bet it'll even out between those two groups.

no cause they’ll just DC when it loads in.

It's a fine change. I don't see a lot of killers or survivors DC because of maps though. I'm not sure this change was necessary.
