I feel as if survivors aren't awarded enough for being courageous
When the killer comes around I do my best to do one of 2 things:
1. Run the killer around to give my team time to do objectives like totems and generators
2. Try to win the chase by using mind games and/or skill
However even if I perfectly run the killer I usually end up getting significantly less BP even though I did what I would call an important job.
I get it; objectives should matter the most but I think a perk that rewards chase points or just giving more BP to people good at running the killer would be appreciated

Yeah, between the Emblem changes, I've played a TON of Survivor games (more than I usually do) and only a couple of Killer games and I get significantly more Pips and BPs than as Survivor..even if I do well and do things often....
So when you get a situation where you're tunneled and run the Killer around (which I have done in several games) I often only safety pip with mediocre chance for BPs. Because there's a damn good chance the Killer will camp you or immediately go back to you if/when unhooked (had a game where I ran a Killer for nearly 3 Gens, got downed and died on first Hook because NOBODY went for a save...so getting downed intentionally isn't a good option

Agreed. Keeping the killers attention is as much a side objective as cleansing totems.

Survivor is supposed to be a team game, so idk why the game is so strict in what you do throughout the game. As killer when you chase someone, you're doing all of your BP categories at once. Survivor doesn't have that option really. So maybe they shouldn't cap the BP category's.

What rubs my biscuits the wrong way, is that if a Killer chooses to...they can completely screw over a Survivor's game...deny them points, fun and pips. Which can often be the first person they find, or often seen, if a Survivor loops and jukes a Killer really well. This is coming from someone who mostly plays Killer over Survivor...sure it's team based and sometimes you may never deal with the Killer and its 4 of you (ideally) and so the burden of objectives is generally shared amd the BPs spread out....but still really sucks if you get a bad game that's 100% out of your control.

Yeah, it's really unfair as well when your team is too good and the killer is tunneling one survivor the entire match and when you've all finished your gens and escape, you get terrible Evader and Benevolent emblems. Like, it's not my fault that the killer is bad. And it's not my fault that my team isn't bad.

I'd like it if the devs would remove the 8k bp cap per category (while keeping the overall cap of 32k bp).
If the category cap was removed, those players who keep the killer busy could still get their fair amount of bp, for example.
I keep saying that and it's nice to see that other players also come to the same conclusion.

And getting almost no Bloodpoints because a Killer decided to tunnel/camp and not let you go is the single most scummy thing a person can do in this game, but sure just state this one thing. Glad you could join the conversation 😑
We are literally talking about being unable to earn many Bloodpoints because of a set of players want to eliminate someone asap. For some, matches take awhile to get or people can only play so many matches because of life. To potentially get screwed out of several games, some possibly in a row can and will shut some players out of wanting to come back
The whole "if a Killer wants to" is literally pointless for you to state o so matter of factly here.

There should be higher cap on evader points, possibly more objectives (such as doing 360 to dodge the hit).
Chases are the hardest part of DBD and should have higher impact if you pip or not. It's really stupid that you can be rank 15, loop for whole game, end up face camped with NOED and get safety pip to never rank up and keep wasting babies time till you uninstall.

Not true. If I get tunneled an entire game I receive at most 4000-5000 BP which is absolutely nothing.

I actually really like this idea, those players probably still wouldn't pip though which is a problem

@PhantomMask20763 The Emblem system is not my favourite when it comes to pipping.
What I'd prefer is not only removing the 8k bp cap per category but also making pipping bp-related again.
That way, the surv who gets 20k in Boldness for keeping the killer busy the entire game could still pip because of the high amount of bp.

This is one of the reasons that WGLF didn't need that nerf from long ago cuz killers already get more bps.
