There should be an Ingame Report Button for "Throwing"
Title.
Right at the start of the trial 2 survivors ran up to the killer. The killer downed both of them. Searched for my duo and I. Slugged me, and let my friend do 5 gens.
I dced. Am I in the wrong?

Just curious... what was the point of DCing if you were gonna watch all this? Shouldn't you have bled out b4 5 gens were done?

I didn't watch any of it. My friend just filled me on what was happening.

This is likely to be highly subjective, which is the worst kind of thing for mods to deal with.

Would running No Mither to do a challenge or adept be now considered "throwing"? Would that need to be reported and acted on? I can see players abusing it badly.

In the scenario I am speaking about neither survivor that threw, had no mither.

Didn't say that they did. They could have left for many reasons, but where does the line go for reporting for "throwing"?

You need to actively be particapating in the trial. Actively doing your objective. Running straight up to the killer just to die, there's no excuse. It's just throwing which ruins the game for everyone else.
As an Online videogame there needs to be boundaries.
You have a no mither challenge? Sure.
Cleansing a dull totem. Sure
Hiding from the killer real quick so you don't get caught so you can get back to the Gen you were just on or simply maybe because you are on death hook. Sure.
Taking a hit. Sure.
Running up to the killer at 5 gens at the start of the trial, just to go down and die. Throwing. The reported player should suffer a DC Penalty from matchmaking. At the end of the day, there is no excuse.
