Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Dead by Daylight difficulty compared to The Long Dark difficulty modes.

In The Long Dark you have Pilgrim, Voyager, Stalker, Interloper, and Misery Mode, which is Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard, respectively.

Now having played Dead by Daylight on both sides for thousands of hours, I will tell you how each game mode compares, assuming the skill level of the survivors and killers are all equal.

Strongest Killers (Nurse/Blight) = Pilgrim

Weakest Killers = Voyager

4-man SWF = Stalker

2-3-man SWF = Interloper

Solo Q = Misery Mode

BHVR's own stats confirm the facts I have just provided.

What this means is that low skill killers generally have inflated MMR's and go up against SWF teams they have no business playing against, but are only in those matches because the Solo Q stomp matches inflated their MMR.

So when said low skill killers (definition needed) face said SWF, doesn't that reverse the difficulty ladder?

I don't know, that logic doesn't seem very consistent to me.

But then again, the entire MMR system as it is doesn't make much sense.
