The Hypocrisy is real
so let’s get this straight…
if you “go next” because you’ve been tunneled, or your teammates are refusing to help you, you are punished.
BUT if you don’t like being left on the ground for the killer to go, after somebody else, you can just surrender and essentially “go next”. And the kicker is you won’t lose any blood points for it but if you do so, on the hook, you’re gonna be punished.

Sorry but. What. I don't think that's how it works.

That's not how it works.
You only get the surrender option when ALL Survivors are in the dying state and the game state is basically in a position where you lose anyways. If you the only Survivor who is on the ground (in the Dying State), this effect will quite literally never proc, since it requires the entire team to be in the Dying State.

Don't understand your logic, I don't care if I'm tunneled. What I care about is if my team doesn't take advantage of it. 100% of my go next vibes are directly related to my teams not doing generators.

BHVR is giving you a free pass to “go next” only in very specific situations where most people agree the match should end. You being tunneled or having bad teammates is not one of those situations. If you’re just going to DC every time you feel like you’re being tunneled or your teammates aren’t good enough, well that’s exactly why there needs to be a DC penalty.

If you’re “being tunneled”, the best thing you can do for your team is stay in the game and not give up. Keep improving at looping and chases so that if the killer focuses on you, you waste more of the killer’s time. When I play killer side and try to tunnel someone out, if they are a good survivor player and make an effort to loop me around the map as much as they can, it’s very difficult to get more than 1-2 kills because the other survivors can crank out the gens with no pressure.
Players like you who think it’s ok to not try if you’re being tunneled (which by the way should statistically be only 25% of your matches, and assumes 100% of killer players use a tunneling strategy, which is not true, so it’s even less than 25% of your matches) are a big reason why the solo queue experience is so frustrating. I have plenty of fun in solo queue most of the time if my teammates actually try and don’t give up immediately.
